  1. How did you get those breakdowns? (Sorry see them now) My Facebook has shared and will do my LinkedIn, although that might be better done on Monday morning!
  2. Almost 300 extra from last night!!! Keep sharing/signing - i feel if I don't try I'll regret not!!
  3. To get a 100 overnight is very good! But sharing will be the only way to do this :)
  4. It's 507 now - which is great!! If people are signing and can share a link on their social media, that would really help!! :).
  5. No thank you and we've had 7 signatures since finding the link :)
  6. Lordship - should you amend the subject line so people know that it's for?
  7. This petition is for the MPs to debate/decide on next steps before article 50 is triggered. It's worth signing in the likely even they won't hold a second referendum
  8. So now to get sharing this one :) I signed and it's confirmed too!! Maybe needs new thread - subject line on this is misleading!!
  9. I found this one https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/133540 Happy, very happy to sign a local one too!!
  10. Great - I'll look too!! I just noticed this on referendum petition, we might need to consider this in the wording if we do have to do anything: "The Committee has decided to defer its decision on this petition until the Government Digital Service has done all it can to verify the signatures on the petition. We have already had to remove 77,000 fraudulent signatures. The Committee wishes to make clear that, although it may choose to schedule a debate on this petition in due course, it only has the power to schedule debates in Westminster Hall ? the second debating chamber of the House of Commons. Debates in Westminster Hall do not have the power to change the law, and could not trigger a second referendum."
  11. The site is not opening for me - laptop on go-slow!!! Are we going to do this then? Who is willing to help? It will be a back up to them not holding the second referendum? Assuming we get signatures - but it will need to be positioned that way, so potential signatories understand that it is a contingency petition!!!
  12. Let me think too, and perhaps someone else will have an idea!! How about something on the lines of, if they debate the second referendum and decide not to hold it, that before article 50 is triggered, MPs must hold a vote to show their complete support to the triggering of the article 50. If there the vote is a'no' then the article 50 can not be triggered? Badly worded, but you'll get my drift!!
  13. If that's the only wording and nothing about an election, then good idea!! :) :) and yes the parliamentary site :) But aren't they meant to debate the petition? So would it have to be that we request the MPs to hold a vote for in/out??
  14. I wouldn't have a clue about either - but a petition could be shared easily! The only downside, on reflection, is that is there really another party - and I guess I do want the stability of Osborne, personally! What if a Brexit party got in? Do we trust who we have to do their best, or risk having a much more serious issue in our hands! Boris has a lot to answer for (and Gove)!! I don't believe either believed in Brexit, and there was no necessity for anyone to support Brexit - apart from Farage etc.. It's just terrible the utter lies that were told!!

That's a good idea re the petition?!?! How could that be set up? Like the one calling for the second referendum!!
  16. Gove better not get through, and what Boris has done is truly terrible - absolutely no strength or conviction - but I'm pleased we don't have to worry about him making PM. I'm hoping it will be May and Osborne leading us through this time of change, and I hope people will remember in years to come, that whatever happens, May has been dealt a bad hand of cards, but she had the strength to try (assuming she gets in). Question: David Cameron said they hoped to have new PM in October, but has that "moved" to September now, or will the new PM only be effective from October if elected in September? The reason I ask, I was concerned about this Boris thing and went on to the Conservative website regarding membership. It says you only have voting rights after three months of membership. I'm wondering has that something to do with the choice around dates for the new PM election?
  17. Other countries have had multiple referendums until their governments could demonstrate that whatever the referendum were about, were beneficial etc...
  18. 1.1 million further signatures since I posted 9 hours ago!!
  19. I'm looking into this too! There are two things listed, one is a certificate if you've lived here for at least 5 years, and then citizenship if you've lived here for 6 years. Do we need to get the certificate thing first? Or can we go straight for the citizenship? I've checked the dual nationality aspect, and I'm eligible or that. It's rather long winded!! :) thanks!!
  20. It's heading towards 700,000 now. When I signed yesterday, it took a few hours to get the email link to officially submit my name - so watch your mails! There might have been a majority, but I have concerns regarding the vote itself. People have already said they turned up and their vote was already made (along with example of someone's vote been completed by proxy, a proxy that had not been asked for. I was registered to vote, but was concerned I'd have to travel, so I registered for a postal vote. In response, I received a letter to say that I was already registered. I knew this, so essentially they didn't register for me to vote by post, so I had to make I didn't travel on the day of the vote. What about people who tried to do the same but couldn't avoid travel? I
  21. Hi, I've just seen this and I'm almost certain you can't give out sick days. When I was moving jobs, I told my new employer that I was sick for an extended period of time in the recruitment process. When I was speaking to my then current manager, she told me that they couldn't disclose sick days on refs, can't remember why. In my line of work and it has been the case with my three previous employers, they have a standard reference which confirms the position of the individual, and their start and end dates. Nothing more than that. The reason been is if the information outside the hard facts is incorrect or becomes incorrect, the company who gave the reference could be liable (or something)! These companies are big names, so they will know why they are doing, what they are doing! I hope this helps!!
  22. Hi tomskip, the locks were changed before the agent lost them. They had a copy for access which they were using for themselves and third party contractors (although not following our instruction on this from a security perspective either). We had a made a real strict policy about access to the building. They informed me of the lost key at least a month after they realised it was missing. They did visit the property at the time (apparently), and apparently borrowed a key from a contractor who we authorised to have a key at all times.
  23. I am hoping someone can help/advise please? Without going into detail, we recently changed our locks for security reasons and we were very clear about the key use and access to our property by third parties. Our management agent did not tell us for over a month that they had lost the property key, they do not know who had it last or where it is. We are so disappointed with them. The agent is regulated by RICS, ARMA, ARLA etc., therefore we would expect that they would keep our keys secure and accounted for at all times. Does anyone know about the regulation controls themselves, as whilst I found references to RICS online in terms of keeping keys secure, the documents are for members only? It would be good to understand our rights in this situation, so any help will be greatly received. We would expect that under their duty of care responsibilities, they should have told us and changed the lock ? but they are been less than communicative.
  24. Hi, I don't know why it has taken me so long to realise that the water here is affecting my hair (and perhaps my eczema/psoriasis). It always looks awful, but when I visit family, my hair looks great after washing it! I don't have space for a water filter in my flat, but recently saw you could get shower head filters? Has anyone tried one? Or can recommend any particular ones? I did research it all a few weeks ago, but there was some mixed reviews on some sites. I then found an article about vitamin C in some showerheads, which made me give up, too many choices and not enough personal knowledge! I am hoping someone here might have some recommendations. The first site I went onto today on restarting my search was Pure Showers and they have various showerheads and a bath ball!! Thank you :)
  25. Render, Can they evict a homeowner? I've pm'd you Vito!
