I worry about this, people ask me about how much my dog was and I say the dog was a present! I have had cars pull up and one lady saw me on one road as she was driving, and actually stopped the car on another road to ask me about my dog. She seemed friendly and admitted she had driven around to speak to me, but I?m super cautious all the time!! I?d not know how to cope if anything happened to my dog!! :(. I think sometimes you can tell if people are just nattering, but not always!!!

Squirrels are always at my flowers, plants, fruit and veg out the back! I see something grow, admire, gone... birds too on the fruit etc.. :) But if someone stole things, I?d be gutted!! So I?m sorry to hear that!!

I always use Forest Hill too, rarely if ever, use East Dulwich station. FH has good options...

There is also a direct train from Norwood Junction, it has more stops but at least you?ll get a seat. You can get a train from Forest Hill to Norwood junction but have to time it right, otherwise you could miss train by one minute.

Since reading the post, I?ve looked again at getting hedgehogs (not as pets), and the idea of opening gardens for them is great. My friend said you can get hedgehog houses, so am going to try that in our garden, and see what happens. It be amazing to have them and feed them if needs be! I must say this year we have less slugs and snails, so as we are near Woodvale, perhaps they are in the area unbeknownst to us :)

Are the stickers not been sent out then? I was watching for them in the post. Will the council still collect or give us additional bags while we wait? Our brown bins get filled every week.

I had the same problem waiting for P13 today - but I popped out a little while ago and a p13 turned in to Underhill coming the West Dulwich direction so it might be back in action :)

I had to go there for an emergency appointment on Friday and it had change ownership last Monday. I don?t know if they still do NHS but they had all my records from years ago. The dentist was lovely and the receptionist Margaret is still there :) I hope that helps somewhat!

I have been using taxis too!! Are they back to normal this week? It will make a massive difference-taxis too expensive all the time but can?t walk that far!!

Is that the gated little road - sparks67? We?ve seen a few canisters thrown in our garden - I hadn?t known what they were? I imagine it was cleared up for knotweed treatment, or around the same time. We never go out there, but recently had to access and it was very overgrown again.

I love at the horniman end of Underhill too - and I rarely notice any plane noise at all! I?m only reminded if I sit outside and I see one fly over then!

There?s a truck of rubbish parked on underhill, near the grove tavern end. It?s been there all day, hope that isn?t dumps too - on the assumption it?s theirs of course!

I saw a lady walk around the side of our building once, thinking she was a burglar- I went down to see what was going on - she wee?d there - I was horrified - I can?t say I was very polite as she walked away quite calmly!! How disgusting can people be!!

I?ve a wire mesh bundle thing too - it doesn?t help! Descale weekly now! I?ve no idea how my dishwasher has survived and washing machine!

I think they are quieter when you first buy them, then because of the hard water they become noisy until you descale them. Recently changed from a smart kettle to a Smeg one as a treat. I?ve replaced it three times for various reasons and wish I hadn?t bought it now. Each time a new one comes it?s quiet but then the limescale kicks in (that?s not why I replaced, each was either faulty or became faulty)! The smart kettle had same issues with noise until deacaled- firget the brand I had before that-but same issues.

Thank you - obviously glad it wasn?t sinister - whoever the people are, how selfish and stupid are they! They?ve probably upset the residents, interrupted their plans and wasted valuable time of police etc.. There are a number of people locally who?ve yet to have just 5 minutes to deal with a crime they?ve faced recently - this time could have been used so much wisely! Sherbet crossed my mind too!! Hope the people are identified!!

Same on Underhill/FH end.. has anyone managed to get through to thameswater - just to log it, I couldn?t!
