  2. posters who perpetually edit their posts and mismatched clothes pegs
  3. TOP TIP instead of paying a meagre ?25 for one poxy viewing, you could always PAY EVEN MORE and book into the hotel which takes up floors 35-50 (I think) of the Shard and enjoy the view from dusk till dawn... I cannot imagine what it would be like going up to the top floor (95?), makes me shiver just thinking about it.

    New cafe

hang on but no-one pays to sit on the top floor of the car park, do they? or have I been too early and missed a late nite entry fee? the view is absolutely fantastic and last time there was an art exhibition that you could look at as you wandered around the car park sipping negroni, as you do.
  5. No. But 50 Sheds of grey is out now*. 'I lay back exhausted, gazing happily out of the shed window. Despite my concerns about my inexperience, my rhubarb had come up a treat . .' *twitter parody Help-Ma-Boab Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Is Fifty Shades of Grey out already? > > > Cazz Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > Last time I went to Peckham it was dirty.
  6. As elusive as the Higgs Boson. Its raining and sunny at the same time today, horribly humid. I hear there are sandstorms in Lanzarote tho.
  7. Is it parked in Nunhead by any chance?
  8. "Och its only a wee bit of rain, don't let that stop you" as my mum used to say when throwing us outdoors "I don't want to see any children in this house until dinner is ready". If only we'd had an outside kitchen, that'd learn her. Anyway, sorry to digress, good luck & hope you find something suitable!
  9. And anyways, the people who post from OUTSIDE the SE22 area are FAR more interesting in my opinion. There I said it.
  10. El Pibe - get an outside kitchen instead, far better cooking outdoors!!
  11. It is true though. People who live in SE22 are very postcode-ist. FUCKERS.
  12. I too and laughed out loud at the mick hucknall interview (esp at the bit about Gordon Brown and Tony Blair..penultimate para I think) but I thought it was written like one of those 'parody' type interviews and wasn't sure it was for for real. haha RD - that killer 'mrs merton question' works every time! Mr Paul Hewson is chippy these days.

  14. Loved reading the responses, thanks all. A few questions though - Alan - why would you burn all your clothes? Tom - never gone commando? Ted - Diane by any chance? Loving your work as ever. BNG - do you have a twirly bow-tie and flower that squirts water to go with those? PS maxxi - I think 'rayon' has been rebranded as eco-something or other.
  15. Is that the best you can do?
  16. I have got a navy blue, soft cotton, cap-sleeved, scoop-neck t-shirt that I picked up many years ago whilst working in Mumbai. To this day, its still a favourite item of clothing and I'd hate to be without it. I had no idea when I bought it that I would end up liking it (and wearing it) so much. Anything in your wardrobe that you've become ridiculously attached to? unexpectedly or not...
  17. For some reason, I cannot warm to do-gooder Pip. And don't get me started on Amy, the vicar's daughter. She needs a slap.

  19. So curry clubbers...what's the verdict on TN (and Draft House...)? Did they use a rice cooker? Good poppadoms? Loos up to scratch? Any novel beers on offer? Freebie tipples?....did Mick Mac find his way home? Can only do soooo much bat-watching out here : / PS suffering from massive case of FOMO

  21. I'd help you out but I've only got an old worn-out, table tennis bat. I'd require full recompense of all travelling expenses to North London too. PM me if interested.
  22. My not-so-secret top pub for food near London Bridge is the freehouse, Simon the Tanner on Long Lane. Fabulous quality food, seasonal, British and great service too. A hidden gem of a place, highly recommended.
  23. can you take the buggy and cases on the 63 if you are leaving super early? I used to find that service really excellent and they are frequent and much quicker very (very) early in the morning. Stops right outside Kings X with walkways signposted to St. Pancras, only really an option if you are near the route I guess...

No doubt I'll be branded a Monarchist or Royalist for saying so :-S
