why will it be the worse olympics ever? personally having lived in china i know the chinese will give this 110% and pull out all the stops. they cannot be seen to lose face so i imagine that the opening ceremony on friday is going to be amazing. failing to wow is not an option !

I agree with tony.suburbs the alibi of "it couldnt of been me gov, i was stalking someone else at the time" hardly makes me want to have this bloke back in society although take on board that this individual is rather complex etc etc... how do people feel about his compensation claim? i accept the man has lost 8 years of his life and there has been a miscarriage of justice but possibly half million? i read somewhere that the formula takes into account loss of earnings and emotional distress etc... i'd like to know what he did for a living....

i think what you have just described MM is poor customer service from idiot sales people. it is not a reflection on the current state of the economy - if the people who were actually counting the profit realised that poor customer service allowed people with money to walk out their door i think they would fire said idiot sales people (well you would hope so anyway)...

i'm a born and bred londoner and have lived in london my entire life (even went to uni here) - however as i'm currently up the duff i cant help thinking that it would probably be nice to raise a family out of london. Mind you even if i wasnt up the duff i think i would think about leaving london in a few years anyway- as someone above has already posted its all about quality of life. In london I live to work, i cant help thinking that if i moved somewhere else (NOT the home counties) i might actually work to live... unless you are exceedingly well off i think its difficult to get that quality of life in london...
