  1. My first experience at chandelier was ordering 2 glasses of wine and waiting 15 mins to be served. There were only 2 other couples in there and we sat opposite the 2 people we had placed the order with, whilst they flirted. At which point we went back up and asked again for our wine again and finally got served 5 mins later. Will still give it another chance but not hugely impressed so far.
  2. Hello, I thin the new gym sounds fab. Max, do we have to wait for the gym to open to sign up or are you preparing a waiting/mailing list?
  3. Hi, you should check out www.myspace.com/eastdulwich . There are lots of local musicians and cool bands local to ED that have signed up on here.
  4. Hello, me and my partner would love to come on a tour also. I thought the houses looked fab and loved what you did with the planting!
  5. Hello, I too would be interested in hearing anything about sound insulation as our flat suffers the same problem.
  6. Thanks Kate for taking the time to appear on the forum. I think your points are very valid. I for one shop regularly with you guys but must say I have had trouble with the staff looking at me like i'm an alien and being quite blunt when I ask what might appear to be obscure questions. For example, I popped in this Saturday to ask on the off chance if you might have any Rice wine (Sake). Assuming you wouldn't have any but chancing my arm. I was told in no uncertain terms by the scoffing sales assistant that no you didnt sell Sake and nor did she think I would get any on Lordship lane. So I popped up the road and bought a bottle from Threshers. Clearly the Sake is not the issue but the staff. Not a big deal though, I still think the quality of product is worth the visit.
  7. Hi, we play Squash weekly in Crystal Palace which isn't too far away. They have 5 or 6 courts there. Cheap if you are a member but you can pay ?8 for an hour in a court if you are not a member. You can also hire gear there if you need to.
  8. The fish and chip shop on Northcross is great. Nice staff, great portions and if you are happy to wait, they will cook the fish from fresh.
  9. I can highly recommend Domali in Crystal Palace. I often venture up there for brunch at the weekend. Totally veggie and does a wicked fried breakfast of all things with pretend sausages and bacon. I'm not even a vegetariasn but I highly recommend it.
