  1. I got one for my boy. He doesn't really use it yet and he is 15mths.
  2. My belly just did a flip flop. I am so excited!!!!!
  3. We called out a gas engineer and there is no gas or carbon leak so no idea what is causing the odd smell. But not dangerous it seems, so can sleep well.
  4. We live on Jennings. The last two nights when we have turned on the hob rings, the gas has smelled really strong. The actual gas itself. It's nothing on the rings that is causing this. The gas smell fills the house and rises to its strongest up in the bedrooms where it collects. I know they add a smell to gas so you can smell a leak. I was thinking maybe the smell they have added is strong at the minute just? Has anyone else noticed this?
  5. Lol. Oh yes, silly me.
  6. Just spotted this new sign up where Old Villa used to be near Moxons. Does anyone know what it is?
  7. The Hudson hotel is amazing. You really should check it out. Normally it's pricey but the little trick for groups is to book a Double Double room. This fits 4 people which makes it actually really affordable. It's right by Central Park and the shops. If you are looking for a fun activity for a group of lady's, I recommend Toni and Tina's wedding. Google it. It's a great experience.
  8. Me too! Two days ago with my son. On the same boardwalk and another path further on in the park. Gambolling around like squirrels, not a care in the world, not running away from people. They were in good shape for rats. Not too ugly or scary.
  9. Fab news. I hope you have a big site as I suspect it will be very popular.
  10. I just bought mine a cabbage patch kid. Still charming and a bit old fashioned.
  11. The jojo one has been great. Very flexible and I love a bit of grey jersey.
  12. Sky all the way
  13. Go Glamping by lake Bled, Slovenia. Weather is ok. It's a short and often cheap flight, you can get from airplane to campsite in under thirty mins. I know lots of people who honeymooned there as it is stunning. This campsite is as luxurious as you are likely to get for camping. Nice food, nice facilities. You can glamp in a hut with alfresco hot tub. Two huts cost around 100 euro per night. For the kids there's the lake, pool, pet pigs and tobogganing nearby. Affordable, beautiful, unusual. Go for the hot tub and sign up for one of their romantic picnics and it should feel special too. Site below. You need to click on pricing to see brochure. 14. Any ideas? Seems a bit of a mission.
  15. That tommy tippe is actually the first one we bought but it isn't free flow like it says, you have to suck.
  16. Hi, my bubs is one. He is breast fed. He has had the odd bottle of expressed milk in his time. So he is used to sucking. However, when I give him a tippy cup that you need to suck to get the liquid out of, he doesn't do it. He just bites the nozzle and gets frustrated. To save on spills, there doesn't seem to be tippy cups where the liquid just pours out anymore. If I give him an open cup, he's great at drinking from it but does chuck it everywhere. Has anyone else faced this dilemma? How did you train them to suck for the cup? Or can you recommend a cup?
  17. I have an ipad, no computer. I have made an iMovie of all my videos of my child. I would like to get this put on a disc (DVD/Cd) that I can gift at xmas to be played on either a DVD player or play station. I have spent an hour with snappy snaps this morning who were unable to view the .mov file that was created and therefore couldn't help. My internet search for help says I need a Mac and iDVD. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a professional service to do this for me. It's only a 20min video but I spent time adding music and editing it and am keen to give a hard copy to people without an ipad/computer.
  18. For those of you that use nothing, I suppose you need to make sure your bath products don't dry them out. What do you use in the bath if you use no cream after?
  19. My baby had slightly rough skin so I decided to apply a moisturiser. I started with Johnson's baby moisturiser but have since learnt about all the parabens etc. I then tried calendula from weleda which I found sticky. Finally I have just tried pure coconut oil and it has actually made dry patches on his skin. I have now read applying a oil, can make some body's think they don't need to make their own oil. Hence dry patches. Can anyone recommend a cream?
  20. Mangosteens menu is interesting if you fancy something different. We had a few starters which were nice. The rendang however, was a bit disappointing. Lacked flavour or punch. We will try some other things from there on the future though as it's a bit of a break from the norm.
  21. Good idea, I will just nip out to the kitchen and do that now.........
  22. Found Mangosteen in Norwood. Looks quite nice. Also going for the Bangkok spicy wings. Yum.
  23. Anyone know somewhere that delivers?
  24. For kids portions I use breastmilk bags.
  25. Hi, My one year old is a wriggler too. I researched this a bit too and dress my boy like you. Vest, sleepsuit, 2.5tog growbag with legs. Guidelines say this is spot on for a room 16-20 degrees. They say you shouldn't need a radiator on in the room with this outfit. I too think my boy sometimes wakes from cold when the room drops to 16 in the early morning. I would pop the radiator on but it's really noisy. If the room continues to get colder I might have to find a greater tog. However, I am mindful that it's safer for them to be too cold than too hot.
