Just had a clear out. Apart from realising what a very odd collection of food I have (kombu seaweed? Relatively young with a sell by date of May 2005), the oldest thing was one of those squeezy containers of Heinz Tomato Ketchup - sell by December 2004 :-$ I don't even like tomato ketchup :)) Poured it down the sink and it looked like I was trying to dispose of the evidence of a murder.
It's when you start to get middle age spread. Parts of your body appear to migrate to other parts and if you're a woman your waist disappears. Or is that old age rather than middle age? AARRRGGGHHHH :-S
Yeh, you tell em, Flapjackdavey. Actually it's Wilhelm who's broken the rules, not reneet. So going back to your post, Gigolo Aunt by Syd Barrett .... er, dunno, can't think of anything :))

How often? I've seen it mentioned on the forum once, have you seen it happening frequently?
londonloves, don't mean to be critical but do you think you could put some spaces in between some of your sentences? It's awfully difficult to read when it's a huge lump of text all crammed together :-$
Bellerophon Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Cowley Centre is.... xxxxxxx I was in Cowley at the weekend, seemed fine to me :)
ClareC Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Real fare dodgers provide a fake name and > address;-) xxxxxx Which the person who catches them can easily check on the spot and find is false. Happened to a friend of mine at Clapham Junction.

The presence > of lots of charity shops isn't a good sign. xxxxxxxxx There are loads of charity shops in Oxford, which so far as I know isn't dying on its feet :)

The RSPB had a little stall set up underneath, with binoculars to watch them with. Very heartwarming. Are they back?
It's the heart afraid of breaking That never learns to dance It's the dream afraid of waking That never takes the chance It's the one who won't be taken Who cannot seem to give And the soul afraid of dying That never learns to live
Narnia Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > No, it's my understanding that normally if money > isn't spent in one financial year it's lost. > > > Lost where? Someone has it. xxxxxxxxx It's "lost" to the department who didn't spend it. That's how things work in the public sector, apparently.
Narnia Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > > > Presumably if the money WASN'T spent it could be > used in the next financial year and possibly > reduce our council tax in the meantime. xxxxxxxxxxxx No, it's my understanding that normally if money isn't spent in one financial year it's lost. Not only that but probably the departmental budget for the following year will be cut as often it's based on the previous year's spending. So a double wammy.
