I'm thinking of renaming my house Sue Mansions (or maybe Sue Hall) and forming a pressure group to get it Grade 2 Listed. Or Grade 1 if I can get a big enough group to make enough noise.

Thanks, that was what I was hoping but didn't want to risk losing it all!!

Sorry this is a very basic question. I had a load of stuff on an external hard drive because my old laptop didn't have enough storage. It was all backed up on Carbonite, and when I got my new laptop all the stuff on the external hard drive was downloaded onto that as well. However all the documents, music, pictures etc from my old laptop are now saved in "This PC", while everything from the external hard drive is now in a folder labelled F, which is saved in OS (C: ) along with things like drivers and program files. All I want to know is whether I can safely move this F folder into my "documents" folder in the "This PC" section, so that I can then start to sort it all out. In case it's relevant, the (very) old laptop was running Vista and the new one is Windows 10, which I am finding it a bit hard to get used to, grammar. Thanks.

It's really good having such a small delivery slot.

Thought the same when we passed on Saturday (I think it was). All lit up, tables laid, looked open, but no menu in the window. Hopefully at some point they will let us know about food and prices!

If you have moved to a different provider, then yes. If you are still with the same company, there should be a way of getting them onto your new phone. At least that was what I was told quite recently.

If you are used to bog standard Indian food which you can find in any UK high street, you probably won't appreciate more subtle food from restaurants like Ganapati. Each to their own.

I didn't mean Lewisham as an interesting destination, rather as a way to get home from Greenwich via the DLR! I personally don't think there's much of interest in Lewisham, though I may be wrong!

Tower of London is extortionately expensive :( What are your mum's interests? Locally, there's the Horniman and Dulwich Art Gallery, both well worth visiting if she hasn't been before. And parks, cafes and restaurants near to both, too. ETA: Where does she live? If in the sticks, Brixton Market might be interesting, or a walk round the shops of Peckham (old and new). If the weather is nice, a boat trip down to Greenwich (lots of interesting things to do there, plus a market) might be nice. And you could come back via the DLR to Lewisham, and then a 185 (there are other routes, but I always like going on the DLR, especially if there's no driver and you can get seats at the front by the windows!)

Glad you got the antibiotics, but why could the distric nurse not phone the GP, instead of waiting till he got back to the clinic? Particularly as it's a Friday? -

I must have been lucky! Well, so far they have been a damn sight better than DMC, so all I can say is I'll give them a reasonable chance and see what happens. I'm usually quite healthy, touch wood. Now I've found out how easy it is to change, I can always change again, though I hope I won't have to! I read their reviews etc and they seem to be very good, plus the practice seems to be genuinely listening to what patients want.

Well, having (as I thought) saved the survey to complete later, as there was an option to do, when I went back to complete it (before the closing date of 31 January) there was nowhere on the site that I could find to retrieve it. So I contacted the council officer concerned, and he couldn't find it either. Nor could he find any completed surveys (before anybody gets worried, it - eventually - turned out that there were 95). Long and tedious story short, after many many emails and phone calls between us, I eventually had to start the whole thing again and complete it via an emailed Word document. Which was tonight. Well after the closing date now, but I have been assured that it will be included. A few things: First, if you completed a survey online, you might want to check that it was actually retrieved to be included in the analysis. Second, apparently the website is run by some outside company - either the whole thing or just the part with the surveys on. Third: Given that I was able to save a partially completed survey but not to retrieve it, there seems to be something wrong with the website which this outside company needs to address. Fourth: Given the length of time it took to sort this out (after a fashion) might the council think it would be a good idea to train any of their people who are dealing with online surveys so that they know, for example, how to access the relevant data? I'd be interested to know if anybody else has had any similar problems, as originally I was told there had been ten emailed responses. ETA: Just to add that the council officer concerned was extremely helpful, just didn't seem to have the technological know-how required, which is hardly his fault.

Sorry to break this to you, but it goes on for weeks. You think it has gone, then it comes back. It's been going around ED for a while now :(

Fair enough. I stayed with DMC for years because the actual medical side of it was fine.
