    Gap

There were no gap years before I started at the university of life.
  3. kill him.
  4. Quiz of the day - how was Mr Gold forever linked to Peter Sutcliffe ?
  5. all this technical tax stuff just confuses me - but I get the gist of things - Bono should be killed, yes ?
  6. Sadly, the only reason I moved the ED was due to the proximity of the Surrey Canal I saw on an old map.
  7. cats have a natural affinity with water.Chuck a few in a canal and see the utter joy on their faces

    Gap

Did you discover yourself ? How many Buddahs did you bring back ? Did you meet people from other countries who broadned your mind, made you question your motives for the trip, gave you an insight into art and culture, or did you just meet a load of boastful 5ft 6 Kiwis with goatee beards? Namaste

    Gap

Now that We are all middle class graduates working in the fast moving world of Sales, Marketing, design and Advertising, it is safe to assume that every single person in ED took a gap year. The groaning bookshelves at the MIND shop have trav el guides a plenty - Australia & NZ being #1, Thailand #2, India #3, with Kosovo and Sierra Leone not present. How was your gap year ? where did you you go with Mummy & Daddies money ?
  11. PS I have no particular issue with the Hams, indeed, I saw my last game on the terraces at the Hams, in the home end. Keegan is out of work ATM IIRC.Likely to be more fun than Keen.
  12. you want attractive football, then you can display it for the next few years against Coventry,Doncaster & Scunthorpe. And the odd hammering by Millwall should get the blood flowing. If thats your thing. Personally, Survival is preferable to Flair in these hard times.Insanity I know, but Im a crazy guy. Still, you can live the dream and appoint absurd managers - A DeCanio & McAvennie dream team would tick all the boxes. Once DeCanio has been sacked. Krays / The Queen Mum / Blitz / jellied eels Laaavley
  13. enough of the Whitstable stuff please. The OP wants suggestions for decent places. On a serious note then - Up Stanstead way, Ugley. Stortford, up to Saffron Walden is likely withinn budget and meets requirements. You will need a car though
  14. bleat bleat bleat, home of football, 1966, the academy, Bobby moore bleat bleat bleat. This is not the swinging sixties and Carnaby street is no longer the place to buy your purple loons. England will never win a world cup again and you are unlikely to see Pink Floyd play their experimental choons above a pub off Oxford street Apprently it is impossible to go back in time, but possible to go forward if you speak to physicists, so lets work on than rather basic assumption Alladyce is a professional, thoughful meticulous manager. The reputation he gained for dull football is mostly unjust and pretty much a myth propagated by men in the pub.Given the time and support, SA will not only take Wet Spam back to the PL, but ensure their long term survival and "mid table mediocrity". he may also get a sniff of Europe in time. Up there with expat deluded Manc Filth Demanding the Glazers walk away and Arse fans demanding Arsene Wenger should be sacked because he has failed to bring in a trophy in the past couple of years.Boo fucking hoo. Morons get too much airtime. Turn off Talk sport and think about things before voicing an opinion. /end
  15. legalbeagle Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > x2 for Whitstable. Are you serious ? if you take the name "whitstable", rearrange the letters, take some away , add others , you come up with " overrated stinky estuary shithole where the local men spend their time thinking of ways to break into your beach hut and on fathers day, give them selves a fathers day card"
  16. The beats lead fast, miserable lives and died drug/drink fiends. Hippies became "the man" and prospered.

  18. So its a win win scenario - they get the matyrdom they have always desired, society removes an antire sub culture of feckless fascist selfish wealthy vermin and we get to destroy every Donovan Record and every Copy of Jonthon livingston Seagull ON A BONFIRE
