we were so shocked because it was completely unprovoked and happened so quickly but my mum managed to give it quite a strong blow with her hand, it was scared to return and the owners quickly picked it up wanting to make a dash before muttering sorry! yes, thanks we're all ok now but that pole goes everywhere my daughter goes!

Not at all. My daughter was attacked by a small dog when we were picnicking in Dulwich park when she was just 3 weeks but we /she managed to survive the ordeal with a few scratches thanks to my mum and I now carry a wardrobe pole in the back of my buggy as I do not want to take any chances. I've seen a couple around East Dulwich and they makes my skin crawl!

true, Kerry is so nice so is Dr. Main and Patel but I cannot comment on anything else beyond this point given the treatment I've had!

I'm glad to hear you've had such a positive experience at the FHGP. Almost bizarre reading your post Growlybear - we've experienced the complete opposite! However may I take the opportunity to share that your only gripe about the practice is what caused a member of my immediate family a serious operation as this particular GP kept saying it was nothing when in fact it needed immediate medical attention and it took well over a year to get there. Truth is a bitter pill to swallow and I'm glad I've had my say in it. We're very happy with DMC.

Forest Hill Group Practice doctors aren't all excellent apart from Dr. Main. You have to wait at least 2 days for an appointment. The receptionists are horrible & rude and so are the main doctors - make you fell very unwelcome. When you go for a test they lose the samples repeatedly. They've an ever changing roster of random doctors that you'll never see the same one again. Once you're in, its like countdown, you get your 2 seconds worth and you're out, never mind your illness! If you have a baby Will_, you will not get a same day appointment at this surgery unless he/she has fatal symptoms. Most of the time your baby will be seen by the duty doctor and they're not in on a Wednesday so no appointments till the following day. It's such a shame the Oakwood midwifery practice is attached to this GP surgery as their work is faultless. Linda with all the other midwives are dedicated, hardworking & very friendly. A really nice bunch but what a pity they're attached to the FHGP. We were with this surgery long time ago but are now very happy with DMC - same day appointments for babies and the staff are very nice. good luck with your choice. We leant the hard way!

I second recommendation of the Ragdale Hall, really beautiful, stunning spa with plenty of outdoor space for long walks. Love all the various treatments on offer. It was also awarded the best spa of the year, definitely worth the visit, you will not be disappointed. We're also off soon in a couple of weeks time : )
