Hi All, I'd like some art of the local ish area - Crystal Palace down to Dulwich/Peckham Rye area. I have a few from things like Places in Print but am sure there must be more out there that I haven't spotted - any recommendations? Thanks!

I'd go Sydenham without a shout! Its turning around very quickly indeed following the over-grounds arrival which means fast trains to almost anywhere in town. Bobs Wines, Gurkha, The Dolphin pub, the best Italian in London (according to TripAdvisor), CP park, Mayow Park, good transport both in and out of the city (out to East Croydon etc) wider roads, good schools (state and private) are just to name a few of the attractions in my opinion! Thanks Sanity girl - I've tried this but due to the rubber being the seal it on the gap that doesn't get wet during the cycle if that makes sense? I was hoping someone would have an old wives tale I guess involving frogs legs and snails and rose petals or something!

Dare I ask this... but the inside of my washing machine is dirty! not the drum but the rubber which the door fits in to. It doesn't appear to be removeable and so I wondered if any of you had any bright ideas as to how best to clean it? Just wiping with a sponge doesn't work.

Oo good to know! I had assumed that as the fireworks are now only around Westminster the other bridges wouldn't really be affected but i'll definitley check it out now.

We are getting married on New Years Eve and are trying to work out transport options and wondered if any of you had clever ideas! We need a car to get 4 people from Dulwich to a Central London venue approx 4pm departure. We then need to get 3 grandparents back to Sydenham at approx 11pm. Then parents back to Dulwich at 1am. They are worried that taxis will be a nightmare to hail and very expensive if not booked in advance. Anyone out there got any clever ideas at all? Not after anything fancy! Or have any good ideas as to where else I could ask? Many thanks.

I was in the foundation group for maths GCSE - I asked to try being moved up for a term at least and then really flourished and ended up with a A overall, I really wanted to prove myself. If you child will rise to the challenge then I would suggest asking...no harm in asking! (You can also always get in a tutor to help your child catch up if that is their concern, at least for a term or two?) Good Luck!

My boyfriend and I are looking for an easy, sunny few days / week away from 16th August onwards. Does anyone have a holiday house we could rent? We are very clean people who just want some time to read, sleep, eat and drink a little bit! We don't mind where - as long as you can guarantee perfect weather! ;) Yes I know its bad timing but that's all work could do. Any good (not overly expensive) hotels would be great too! Thanks!
