  1. I would write 'Bellenden Village' ...and then consider blowing my own head off
  2. Why can there not be a nice stall selling foraged mushrooms and cupcakes outside this shop? That is what I pay ?1500 a month rent for. This oiky man with his broken dreams and his cars really keeps me awake at night. I'm mad as hell, and I'm not gonna take it anymore.
  3. The one in East Dulwich opposite Coop often has well-to-do parents sifting through the kids' stuff that gets left outside on a Sunday. Classy. Maybe all the diffeent charities have got wind and have stayed away.

It comes from , you know, Fuji. Must be good. They usually put it under one of their posters trumpeting their ethical credentials. Because shipping water 13,000 miles is perfectly reasonable.

I was being... never mind SMBS sells all the snake oil, chakra-aligned artichoke rub and 'I can't eat that, I'm on a special dietzzzz' food faddery you'd ever feasibly need
  6. I for one will not stop until there is a branch of Whole Foods on LL, I just can't understand why anyone would even consider shopping at a supermarket without its own manifesto.
  7. I'm afraid of black people and all that weird stuff that they eat, and Rye Lane doesn't fit in with my aspirational view of what a High Street should look like.
  8. I'm sure she's glad she's being debated on here, it's really helping her situation. Shame she can't join in - too busy trying to pull heartstrings outside Somerfield, no doubt.

Asylum Road, Clifton Crescent for the architecture, Friary Road, there's plenty of nice bits in Peckham.

Nearly all of this thread is depressingly blinkered and wide of the mark. J-Kopite poster, welcome to East Dulwich.

Similarly, have you ever walked down Lordship Lane without punching anyone repeatedly in the face? Because I haven't.
  13. So you boycott the whole organistation on the basis of one incident, upon which you have no idea of any of the background? Good idea.

  15. Locale are on Twitter. I don't go there, but if I did they're pretty on the money with what they offer - promos, specials of the day and giveaways

You can't underestimate the logic of the modern parent. (Just park in the bays if there's nowhere else btw - it's not illegal, the only way you can get fined if an attendant actually sees your lack of children. Parents' cars aren't 'badged' - yet)

Bravo, we need more pubs like this!
  20. Are you an escaped Viz character? You are also alleging something which m'learned friends would be very interested in - as it's essentially libel unless you're willing to back this up in court. Defamation cases run expensive, perhaps admin will delete this thread.
  21. Just bumped into a black male wearing a black jacket as I was walking through Peckham. Against my better judgement I pinned him down and put him in a sleeper hold in an attempt to force a confession. After a couple of hours of fierce interrogation it turned out I had the wrong guy. Could have sworn it was the guy you describe above though.
  22. Local elections are on May 1st. I'd be surprised if this wasn't connected in some way. See also 'bobbies on the beat', so beloved of councils wanting to be seen to be 'doing something', even though the benefit is negligible / tends towards zero.
  23. What would constitute 'fair evasion', in your eyes? *gets coat*
