Filming on Underhill Road today
Family Room Moderator replied to AD's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Sorry Mr Garcia, unintentional - I removed a spam post that was just above yours (dodgy link, it happens daily) and as your post was immediately afterwards it got hidden too. -
Mcalpine dance school
Family Room Moderator replied to Fuschia's topic in The Family Room Discussion
I've removed some posts from this thread - as some of you picked up on there was a fake post recommending a different dance school which I removed. Subsequent posts referring to this have been hidden as they did't make sense once that post was gone. No conspiracy theory, just me doing a bit of late night housekeeping. -
Autumn baby club?
Family Room Moderator replied to firstlifefilms's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Congratulations! I will set up a thread for you now. -
Gina Ford's new book - new mums & sex
Family Room Moderator replied to Belle's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Family room group hug :) Thanks Saila & Otta, any mention of GF generally makes moderator alarm bells ring, healthy debate is fine but let's keep this thread on topic. So back to sex then... -
Sorry for the delay in starting this - I'm sure there are quite a few of you who are now at the point of wanting to share your exciting news! Use this thread in whatever way you like... tried and tested morning sickness remedies, what to buy, whether your belly button will ever look the same again (it won't!). Many congratulations to you all, and all the best for the exciting months ahead. FRM

Don't panic, twas I, the humble FRM. Moved to FR classifieds as you're much more likely to get constructive responses there than on the main board (where I dread to think where your request may lead). Hope you find the required fairy costume in time :)

For sale items not seen in Family room section
Family Room Moderator replied to suzza22's topic in The Lounge
Hi Suzza22, I've sent you a private message - the family room classified section is the right place for your item to be, and don't worry, it will be seen! Good luck with your sale. FRM -
99% sure the answer is no, sorry Sue.

Blisters on toddler's lips
Family Room Moderator replied to Polly D's topic in The Family Room Discussion
I don't want the original poster to feel she was told off, and I do agree that most users of the forum are sensible enough to know that their child should see a doctor. What I would hate to see happen is someone, perhaps not so sensible, make a diagnosis based on something they've read here rather than see a doctor. We issue this advice based on contact made to us from a concerned health professional. I hope your son is feeling better today PollyD. -
Blisters on toddler's lips
Family Room Moderator replied to Polly D's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Thanks for stepping in David. Please do refrain from using the forum for giving/asking for medical advice, especially in cases where the child has not been seen by a GP. Many thanks. -

Bins all the way down Marmora Road are LITTER
Family Room Moderator replied to Evie's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
There is already a lengthy thread on this topic, you can find it here: http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,757080 I am locking this thread, as in the same way you feel that all the bins are making the streets of East Dulwich untidy, having lots of little threads on the same topic makes the forum equally untidy :) -
Sorry Alan Medic, it was me (in error). Post now reinstated.

Why does the forum remove certain posts??
Family Room Moderator replied to mjem's topic in The Lounge
A lot of the posts in that section are either people recommending, or asking for recommendations, for certain businesses - in which case no trading address is needed. Feel free to report any posts you feel break the rules and the moderating team will look into them. We're not around 24/7 so sometimes things get missed. Thanks, FRM -
Why does the forum remove certain posts??
Family Room Moderator replied to mjem's topic in The Lounge
I've just had a look for you - there was a post of yours removed on Sept 26th. It was an advertisement for your business, which was posted in the wrong section (for sale & offered), and didn't contain your trading address so did not meet the requirements to be in the business section. Hope that helps. FRM -
Hi, Postings are removed from the business section if they do not follow the rules of posting in that section. For further information please refer to the following thread: http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?30,642847 Thanks, FRM

Feedback on Kingsdale Foundation School
Family Room Moderator replied to loulou9999's topic in The Family Room Discussion
BB100 - I can tell you that two posts have been removed from this thread. One asking for more information on the investigation, and one by yourself making reference to previous posts on another thread, also relating to the investigation. I do not remove comments that are simply negative about the school, only ones that make reference to topics which we have previously explained are not to be discussed here. -

Family Room Moderator replied to loulou9999's topic in The Family Room Discussion
All I can suggest to those of you wanting more information is that you contact the school, or relevant investigatory bodies. Remember that this is a public forum on which anyone can post, and the accuracy of information/intention of posters cannot be verified by ourselves. I would imagine that once the investigation is complete the results will be made public either via the school or local press. Thanks for your understanding, FRM -

Prickle - your message was removed as it invited responses which once again would open the thread up to libellous comments and responses. I do not remove threads that simply give a balanced negative/positive view on the school as a whole. -
Hi Em, Could you PM me and let me know the user/post you are referring to and I'll look into it for you. Thanks, FRM
-
The entire thread hasn't gone, just the very detailed post added today and the responses to it - which I have had to remove due to there being an ongoing investigation into the matter. I removed your posts they related specifically to the detailed post which I had to remove meaning they no longer made sense. Nothing personal, just doing my job. Thanks, FRM
