  1. Thank you for your comments. Whilst this is a very regrettable incident I really appreciate you addressing it on this forum. All the best. Good luck.
  2. Sadly this goes way beyond the pricing. Today the stylist at Little Clipper who was cutting children's hair was intoxicated and smelt very strongly of alcohol. EDF can take this down as they have my other post but this is a statement of fact and that the general ED public need to be aware of this as it is at best appalling and at worst dangerous.
  3. So. Got to Little Clipper this morning for a two year old boys haircut. Salon was very busy as apparently one member of staff was overheard to say that she had been on her own all morning. Customers were complaining. These things happen. What doesn't happen is the member of staff who turned up late was also inebriated, reeking of alcohol and unfit to cut children's/infants hair. Imagine if that scissors slipped or she made that cut just a little too close?! It would appear the stylist who decided to turn up work sober had only been there a short while and as such didn't really know what to do beyond calling the manager/owner who did turn up. I overheard her talking on her mobile phone at how 'embarrassing' it was. Whilst I did not pay for the sorry attempt at cutting my sons hair I would urge anyone who saw this and said nothing to ask for a full refund. The stylist in question had cut several other children's hair that morning. Where were the controls? I am appalled, angry and I certainly will not be returning. This is supposed to be a salon designed and dedicated for children and infants for crying out loud. Perhaps some of the other salons in ED may show a little more professionalism and provide a safe environment for children.
  4. Price? For your life? I would suggest you give it away free. Anyone who has the time much less the inclination to search and comment on other peoples posts really should take a long hard look at themselves.
  5. Mashcov = get a life!
  6. Had a similar problem with a **** that lived beneath me a year ago. Asked many times to turn it down but never bothered. upset myself and all neighbours. thought of a different tact when he answered the door with a golf club!! - took the fuse out of the junction box and kept for 17 hours!!! No noise then I can assure you.
  7. I am having a BBQ for quite a few people and looking to purchase a large amount of quality meat - sirloin, rump etc I am looking for options other than the local butcher in ED which whilst excellent would charge me an absolute fortune! Any ideas?
  8. Anyone know what this is becoming - another indian restaurant, estate agent or bookies?
  9. OMG! Because we need another one!!
  10. Does anyone know what the store being refit next to Chener Books is due to become?
  11. http://www.gumtree.com/london/62/58357162.html Sunnysideup - is this yours per chance? The description fits and the gimp selling it clearly has no idea of its value and it was never sold for that much or anywhere close. David
  12. And my faith in ED has been restored. Finally some sense around here - squatters out!

Cash flow issue?? But you know why worry about the owner when we can pour sympathy on the squatters! Troll and redneck! ha - Nah unlike most sympathetic to the owner!!!! Oh PS do any of you actually live on East Dulwich Road or are you glorifying it all from your ivory towers!
  14. Of course not - they are squatters! Get the court order, get the baliffs in, get your property back. There's the due process!
  15. I love all this liberal bull! Lets just see how any one of you would react if you came home and it was your home invaded. Its all very well pontificating but the real reaction would be far different! I invite the owner of the property to come on here and discuss?? Suppose you want Clegg as your next prime minister too - lets really get the UK back on its feet ... dear god! Blue all the way.
