We don't have an open mic night but on Wed nights we have the Easycome acoustic club where some open spots are available. These are arranged by the promotor, Andy (look out for the guy with the cowboy hat and white dreadlocks) - pop down to introduce yourself and he may give you a chance to get on stage.

Easy on the conspiracy theories guys, I'm the real Ivy House Nick. I don't know who Nunhead Matt is in 'real life' but can assure you all I didn't ask/bribe him to write such lovely things about us on here. Maybe he's just a normal person who likes our pub and wanted to spread the word? For those yet to check us out, The Goose Is Out gig on Saturday would be a great chance to see this lovely venue at its best. I'll hopefully meet more of you in the future. Sorry Minkey, we're in the process of updating the old Ivy House website with our current details. We're open from noon on Sundays and serve food until the meat runs out (around 4.30-5pm based on the last couple of weeks). ?9.00 for a big tasty roast and all the meat is from William Rose organic butchers. Hopefully see you on another Sunday.

Happy to be of help simpo, and even happier with the 3 points that we pretty much stole from you. We do our best to show lower league games at Hoopers whenever possible, QPR v Forest this Sunday should be a cracker.

Sorry, there's no scampi fries here in Hoopers - you must have been dreaming (or had a few too many ales). We do lovely pork scratchings though...

3 screens actually.... We've got a shiny new big plasma TV at Hoopers, so can now show the rugby in every part of the pub if needed. And yes, our beer range is vastly superior to the EDT's...
