(Potential) bike thieves - When will this stop?
Loz replied to Caesi01's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip

Yes. You can film anyone in a public place and use the footage if it not for profit. Even under the DPA, domestic CCTV gets an exemption. -

I think you are only allowed 10 at that price, after that it goes up pretty steeply. From the website: (And, yes, the typo is theirs.) -

Businesses within the zone can also buy permits. Whether a school counts I'm not sure. -
There is a story in the papers about a soon-to-be-married couple who had their honeymoon flights cancelled by Ryanair a couple of weeks ago. So, they rebooked on Monarch...

Oh, RD. Curry and chips are just amazing after a long session. Though avoid the Dutch version. That entirely misses the point. They should stick to Fritesaus.

Can't say I agree with much Rees-Mogg says, but you have to admit he has one hell of a cool demeanour and a hell of a style. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/10/02/jacob-rees-mogg-politely-takes-angry-protesters-conservative/

Sorry, Previouslyhappyresid, but the council loves CPZs and you haven't a snowball's chance in hell of getting it rescinded. Ever. They want to squeeze parking. At the moment they are merely shifting the problem around, but once the process is complete and everywhere is afflicted, people will really start to see the hell they have helped create. -
Agreed, triumph. I had flu about 10 years ago - I was pretty much completely incapacitated for days. Couldn't eat, could barely drink. Lost half a stone in a week. Can't imagine what it would do to someone vulnerable, healthwise.

I feel sorry for you Previouslyhappyresid. but every time CPZs get a mention on here, pretty much all of those points are raised in warning, but people still keep voting for them. -

As many wise people have noted, punctuation and spelling are the difference between knowing your s**t and knowing you're s**t.

One of the cinemas, Picturehouse Central, is a venue for the festival. That's not to say they won't go full PITA and try and disrupt other venues, though.

Going back to the original (drunken) point, I actually have a grudging respect for people who go for sorrynotsorry. In a world where people are frog-marched to press conferences to mutter a grudging "sorry for anyone who was offended" after daring to voice an opinion not sanctioned by the Guardian and/or Telegraph brigade, it's almost rather comforting to see people actually back themselves.

Surely Dyson would be better off throwing his expertise behind the new Hyperloop project? After all that is, in effect, one ruddy great big vacuum cleaner.

Computedshorty hasn't posted for a while - I do hope he's OK. I loved his posts with his stories and pictures from when he was a kid.

Seabag Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > However, you must take the downturn on the chin > FOXTER as you were one of the yes to Brexit > voters. Actually, his voting may yet mean the Foxter actually get what he wants. Brexit is causing the economy to tank and prices are rising, so the BoE are considering putting interest rates up. Foxy's in the money. Though he will have to pay more for everything, but I doubt he's thought that far ahead.

It's offered to NHS people, but I don't believe it is mandatory.

From what I have read, file Henry Whittle under "Least worst candidate" - he seems to be more about Brexit than harassing foreigners in general and Muslims in particular. There were, unsurprisingly, some right nutters in line to take over from the Nutter. I was disappointed to see that the candidate who campaigned on a policy of "developing spacecraft to allow humans to mine the asteroid belt" failed to get elected.

Really? Which thread was that? Because you've been quite abusive on this one. Not just to me, but others as well. If they search on this site or maybe even google "Selclene East Dulwich", this is probably going to pop up. You really think your attitude here is going to pull in new customers for you?

It was really very middle-class up until WW2, which you can see in buildings like Morleys and the Ritzy.
