  1. If you've done a share before pls could you offer some advice? If a share is split between a family with one infant and a family with 1 infant and a young child in school (ie has to be dropped off then part of share again from 3-6pm and all day in holidays), what would be a fair rate split?
  2. great tips ladies :-) thank you i shall become a lazy layabout who siestas in the park all afternoon!
  3. I'm on a 2 month countdown to returning to work in October... boo. But at just shy of a year off, I can't really complain. Of course it's come around so quickly, and all those other cliches. But when I'm sitting in my drab office 8 hours a day again, staring at a computer screen, I know I'll wish I'd done more. So those of you who've been there, done that, got the regrets... what are your top 'make the most of your maternity leave' tips?
  4. Best tip a friend gave me were those supermarket boxes of mini bakery flapjacks. Lifesaver. When utterly exhausted, lightheaded and feeling a bit sick, they were the only things I wanted to eat and were great for getting rid of the shakes.
  5. Thanks all for these. Great advice. She's not the greatest napper when we're out due to being incredibly nosey and wanting to watch everything that's going on, so anything that reclines well and blocks her view as much as poss will be great as there's a hope she'll sleep. I'll look into these :-)
  6. Planning an Italian getaway when LO is 10 months old before returning to work. We have a full-on Mamas & Papas travel wotsit which is totally impractical to take away. Can you recommend a buggy to take? Hoping to get something cheap and cheerful second hand that's light! thanks
  7. ocado rocks. tesco price match on almost all big branded stuff. rarely have missing/replaced items. wonderfully helpful and polite delivery people and helpline. rang them once to ask if i could bring my delivery forward and they rang driver and he turned up 20 minutes later after calling me to check it was convenient. oh and the mobile app is fab for adding things as you remember them when you're out and about. no going back for me!

  13. Hey Hollie Not being a seasoned pro I could be proved wrong by the already-mummies here! I was treated to a gorgeous Stork Sak for my birthday and I can't wait to use it. Love that it doesn't look like a changing bag yet has all the practicalities - as far as I can see. Love it... and they do a gorgeous range. http://www.storksak.co.uk/home.php?home=home I've got the Olivia in Moss kx
