We have three modes on our alarm, full set, downstairs, and perimeter. Downstairs only activates ground floor sensors, and perimeter only activates doors and windows etc. Alarm was installed and is also maintained annually by First Protection who are brilliant. The alarm is also monitored for ?25 per month.

I believe they came up with a stupid figure that it would cost hundreds of thousands of pounds to extend the route so scrapped it. Where this amazing figure came from is a total mystery to me as it only involves sticking some numbers onto the already existing bus stops, and printing new timetables. The road layout at the top of Honor Oak Park allows for buses to easily turn Right, Right, then Left and back along Honor Oak Park to the bus stand outside the cemetary.

This road is an accident waiting to happen, cars and vans go haring down it trying to 'beat the traffic' and cut the corner, instead of just turning left into Barry Road 100m later. A traffic survey was undertaken last year and the report stated that the volume of traffic was significantly higher than normal for a road of this type in this area, factor in the kids crossing during the morning and evening rush hours and the math is simple, sooner or later a child WILL be killed. As I understand it a 'Gate' type barrier will be placed across the road as this will allow the Fire Brigade to access the 12 or so houses on that stretch of Friern, similar barriers are common place throughout the area. I just ask anyone who opposes this closure to consider how they will feel when they hear of the death of a child!

My listing I posted today re IT Consultancy was almost instantly removed. I assume its because I did not list my trading address, but as this is my home address I would rather not splash it all over the Internet, is there any way around this?

All those involved with starting fires, whether directly or indirectly should be charged with Attempted Murder. There are laws which enable members of a 'gang' to be charged with the same crime committed by other members, even if they do not take part directly. If this is actioned and the message publicised it could have a positive impact on these yobs and discourage some of them to stay home tonight.
