Tickets didn't sell out in 43 seconds. None of these nights are anywhere near sold out yet. I don't have an issue with the pricing because there were cheaper seats to be had. I have an issue with them not being that funny any more.

The O2 is just about OK for a loud evening of rock but definitely not for comedy. Demand was high for the Pythons so I guess if they'd have played a smaller venue then they wouldn't be able to shoe-horn as many people in. Some crazy prices on the secondary market for the Pythons right now. Personally I think the RAH would have been iconic.

My issue with it is that I just don't think they're funny any more. Well past their sell-by date. Plus, the O2 is not a venue for comedy IMO. All 5 nights are showing as sold out but they aren't as lots of blocks are being held back. So if anyone actually does want to go to it then wait a while until tickets are re-released, which will happen.

Here is a link to DEC, the Disasters Emergency Committee, which is an umbrella organisation for many UK charities which collects on behalf of all of them in times of crisis. It represents organisation such as The British Red Cross, Save the Children, Oxfam, to name but a few. http://www.dec.org.uk/ So many families are utterly devastated and it's hard to look at the pictures and the news reports and see so many displaced children. The human loss is great but the survivors need food and shelter and clean water so please give something. It's easy to give on the link above and you can gift-aid it so the charity gets the tax back.

I think anyone who fundraises by knocking on doors needs to expect to be asked questions about where the money is going to. I think the questions you're asking on here are ones you should have been asking at your door (or maybe you did).
