  1. This is fun http://www.amazon.co.uk/Urine-Off-URBU1024-Finder-Light/dp/B000MSWNIW/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1329438582&sr=8-3 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Home-Taxidermy-ebook/dp/B004JN0CX4/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1329438864&sr=8-3
  2. I've just had a little flit around amazon.co.uk with the intent of buying something high-brow (yes, as if) and I must say, they sell some downright bizarre stuff these days. From the dodgy to the downright wtf. There's this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/PAUL-ROSS-Canvas-Print-MirrorPrintStore/dp/B001N6W8U0/ The comments are priceless btw. And I really don't have any words for this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/German-Regular-Nazi-Party-1920-1945/dp/B004NDDF0C/ref=pd_sim_sbs_kh_3 Do you think they may have been hacked or has this always been there? px
  3. Deleted just because. Px
  4. Yeah whatever. Katie numbers, I've got your number and now your days are numbered.
  5. "come back all is forgiven" t-shirts
  6. Absolutely WoD but, more importantly, this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_B2hUNuxlQ
  7. OMG Katie Numbers has definitely planted things in my head. Definitely. Is there a support network I can turn to? Help, someone, anyone, help. I also suspect she may have tried to get me banned - Admin, please confirm?
  8. If you only go to one gig this year then the one to go to is Ian Hunter at Shepherds Bush Empire http://www.ticketweb.co.uk/user?query=search&region=xxx&category=misc&search=ian+hunter&x=0&y=0 We should all go, the whole of the forum. You never know who you could bump into at an Ian Hunter gig.
  9. I will second Anvil. Saw it last year. Touched my heart. Funny, absurd and heartbreaking by turns.
  10. I second Marianne Faithful's biog. I read it a long long time ago and it was a real page-turner. I tend to ignore autobiographies on the whole because people generally have such big fat egos.
  11. Thank you so much for your suggestons Nette and RightClick. Px
  12. I've got a pair. Recommended. Falling on your bum isn't a good look. Px
  13. There's a lot that doesn't bear thinking about if you look too hard. On a scale of 1 to 10 (one being a bit of spit and ten being Howard Hughes), I can go to about a 3 and remain in my comfort zone. I wouldn't let those pedi-fish anywhere near my toes though. Yuck. If anyone wants to seriously treat themselves then the absolute QUEEN of the Arch is Shivata at Harrods. Wildly inconvenient (she only works Wednesdays), but she'll have you looking like a movie star in about 7 minutes flat.
  14. I have an Apple Air which is about a year old but has slowed down considerably in the last couple of weeks. Anybody know why? I used to click on it and it responded immediately. Now it takes its time. Is the honeymoon over? I surf a lot but I don't download much so I don't have lots of random stuff eating my memory (that I know of). I am extremely low tech so only grasp the basics. Would be grateful for suggestions from those more knowledgeable (Mockney?). Px
  15. Seconded Lady M. Life just isn't worth living is it.
  16. Servants.
  17. Yes quids but why start a new thread on it which is opening the discussion again? It's a matter that should not be on the forum. So let's not start a new thread. Huh. P

How bizarre Paul K, if, as you say, you found the recent (locked) thread so unsettling, you should PROCEED TO START ANOTHER ONE which is picking up where the old one left off. What sort of freakish logic is that? I will ask admin to lock THIS thread.
  19. Hello James - thank you for your fast response and I've just sent you an email.
  20. Dear James, Yesterday morning I was out and about with friends looking for somewhere to get a Full English when I stumbled across an ED shop that I'd never been into before. I had a small moment of excitement until, on closer inspection, I saw that it was selling fake designer goods. It's bad enough that we seem to pay over the odds in ED for anything from a bacon butty to a lightbulb without having this sort of blatant rip-off. Whilst I'm sure that a lot of girls would spot the good on offer for the nasty fakes that they are, some bloke wanting to surprise his partner might not know the difference and might part with the ?280 being asked for something wich has, at best, a ?20 - ?30 value. I telephoned Trading Standards this morning to pass on all the info and they said they would direct it to the right team. Trading Standards are a mystery to me and I'm worried that they may decide not to act. If I PM you all the details I wonder whether you would please shake a pointy stick in their general direction? I want that shop raided and stripped of all its rip-off fakes and I really hope to God that nobody in ED has been fooled and paid over the odds for this tatt. Thank you in advance and, yes, I am 100% sure that they are fakes. Px
  21. Anyone know anything about PS Resistance? Is it any good?
  22. I see your hotpants and I raise you to hotpants WITH chotcheted poncho
  23. Oh, and I don't mind Lady Ga Ga. Sure, she's copying those who have gone before, but so what? I would hate to think that her predecessors had slammed the door shut after them. If she took herself seriously she would be unbearable, but she doesn't, she's having FUN.
  24. Fashion can be art and it can be theatre. Personally, I can get as much of a kick out of standing outside a shop looking at a stunning gown in the window as I can from wandering around any museum or gallery. I don't need to own it or to wear it (although that would be nice) to appreciate it's fabulousness. I also enjoy watching how young people put together their outfits. Since the beginning of time teenagers have looked for ways to express themselves (music, clothes etc) and I'm uplifted when I see a teenager looking uniquely and creatively put together - especially as it is usually done on a budget of sweet FA.
