No - it's my bed-time. Can't someone just deck someone?

Has anyone thrown a punch yet? Thought not. Bunch of pussies.

Forumites with strap lines. They're distracting.

Maxxi - you have a point. I'm beginning to feel sorry for the sofa. There need to be pictures.

Totally off topic but I don't want to start a new thread. Anyone on here been to the Relentless Garage in Highbury? I am considering taking a 15 year old girl to a gig there. It's going to be a sold out gig so the place will be at full capacity. Is that too overwhelming for a 15 year old? Will she see anything? I don't want her to have a negative experience and it's frankly not a band I personally want to see. I'm hoping someone on here will have an opinion because I don't know the venue. Thank you.

Rosie H - I feel you owe us a photo. I would be concerned if you've signed an inventory which isn't accurate. You didn't actually state that you did, but if you did then it could come back and kick you in the arse further down the line. I would get that sorted out pronto. Vicanna. If you're a troll then fine. Well done. If not, then you may want to take a look at how you talk to people because you're coming across as high-handed and trollish (I made that word up). Rosie H is not a cretin; she knows that if landlord and agent dig their heels in then she's stuck with an ugly sofa; she's just trying to explore a mutually acceptable alternative. Nothing wrong with that.

I don't know what gun turret means to you Rosie H, but to the rest of us sometimes a gun turret is just a gun turret you know. I'm having one put on my house, to take out all the people who don't clean up after their dogs.

Oops, sorry, I drove into it in Sainsbury's in my volvo and left a dent. I left a note underneath your gun turret.

At least they don't have bull-bars any more. Those things were lethal. There's no case for anyone except farmers having bull-bars.

Comediens we loath and love, starting with Ricky Gervais

I fell asleep on my boyfriend's shoulder at a Noel Fielding gig once. We were sitting in the middle at the front. I woke up with a start and he was staring right at me. He didn't look happy. Too bad. I'd had a long flight and he wasn't funny. Never seen Micky Flanagan in anything or heard him tell a joke so can't comment. Said hello to him once in the Great Exhibition because his face looked familiar so I thought I must know him and it would be rude not to. He was confused but nice. -

There's no way a Kraftwerk gig is that animated. That's Kraftwerk speeded up that is. -

I often smile at strangers, especially on the bus, and frequently it elicits a delayed response. It's terribly sad, that folk get smiled at so infrequently that it takes them a second or two to figure out what's going on and respond. Well done you. -
OK yes please - if you could see you way clear to fronting me ?10k on Net a Porter. Thanx. Px

Worker - it's OK not to agree with someone's point of view - but the fact that you've gone out of your way to be unpleasant and personal is not OK. -

Sorry Rosie. Not laughing when everyone else is falling about is like getting to a party when everyone is already drunk isn't it? Basically, I'm afraid I find most comedians unfunny. Sometimes I do find them funny and then I hear new material and it isn't funny at all. I've found Ricky Gervais really funny in the past, but not now. Eddie Izzard is never not funny. -
Well done KK. I'm sure it's genuine; not a scam at all, so please send off your bank details with haste. I would like a new frock. Is that OK? I have expensive taste but that shouldn't be a problem now that you're minted. Alternatively, you can have hours of fun here http://www.419eater.com/

I'm so over the F word. It's not nearly so funny as comedians think it is. Is it their default for when their material isn't that funny? Daniel Kitson was the last (in a long line) of comedians who have worn it out. I'm not saying don't use it, but not in every sentence PLEASE. -

Why not go out into the world every day and be open and friendly and sincere with everyone you meet? Surely better than making up some rule that says you have to say hello to everyone. I applaud you wanting to make the area a friendlier place though. On a side note, I like "old fashioned" greetings like "hello, welcome, good morning" etc. I detest "hello, how are you", "I'm fine how are you". Unless those people are close friends then it's just one insincere person communicating with another insincere person. If you doubt this, then the next time someone you hardly know says "how are you", then try telling them the truth. You might think, so what, it's just a greeting and it doesn't really matter. I think it does matter that we mean what we say. I'd rather people said nothing than said something phoney. -
Cesar Millan speaks a lot of sense about dog psychology. You could order one of his books or watch him on YouTube. Good luck.

That is fantastic news.
