THEY ARE PARASITES I have never EVER managed to get a straight answer about how much of the money they keep and how much goes to the charity. Also, I seriously object to the way the male chuggers come on to the women and the female chuggers try and flirt with the guys. If you don't believe this happens just stand and watch for a while - it's nauseating. They are a nuscience. If you want to sign up with any of the charities then just google that charity and sign up direct. That way the parasites won't get anything.
I went to see MAJOR BARBARA last night at the National Theatre. A good time was had by all and I would recommend it. The cherry on the cake was the 176 magically appearing the moment I set foot on Waterloo Bridge (if only it were always so). http://www.nationaltheatre.org.uk/majorbarbara
Crap place - last time I went there was four years ago for breakfast; we complained so much they let us off the bill. It was beyond terrible. How is it still trading.

At least actors and musicians have done something (albeit sometimes not much); but there are people out there claiming to be celbrities for nothing. This is partly the reason that I don't have a TV; the cult of celebrity is just so invasive; reality TV is everywhere (except my house obviously). I once asked a friend's little girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and she said "famous". I nearly cried.
'Saint' Keef is actually the new face of Louis Vuitton. I mean, really, I'm not making that up. I've had an email from LV - I have proof. A picture of Keef on a bed, guitar in hand, LV bag nonchalantly strewn. Keef as supermodel; who knew.

I truly believe that it is possible that Keef has already kicked the bucket and is one of the undead walking among us - it would explain so much. And when exactly did he get knighted? For what? Services to eyeliner?

John Mayer is doing a warm-up gig at Brixton Academy on Friday 27th June (he's supporting Eric Clapton in Hyde Park on 28th). As much as I loathe Brixton Academy (and that would be a lot), this is actually one gig that is seriously worth going to. Tickets are on-sale this Friday but there is a pre-sale tomorrow at 9.00am http://www.livenation.co.uk/promo/presale My guess is that it will go very quickly; he sold out 2 nights at the Albert Hall VERY fast last year.
