  1. This is one of my favourite songs (I'm an old fashioned girl) and I adore Michael Stipe. Not too sure about Natalie Merchant or her strange dress (miaw), but always loving Michael Lovely Michael Stipe To Sir with Love Did I just do that right I wonder?
  2. Gavin Friday is just so hot. I could listen to that voice read the telephone book and beg for more.
  3. THANK YOU - I love that. Remember this....
  4. OMG that's too weired - we were both listening to David Bowie on Youtube at exactly the same time and posted simultaneously. Still listening to Aladdin Sane as I type. I love Gale Ann Dorsey - great bass player.
  5. Leonard Cohen is such a class act; you just can't go wrong. Loving this Bowie Changes rehearsal from 1976 - very funny
  6. Good choice SMcG. This is nice too.
  7. This evening I'm feeling mostly lonely and wishing I was somewhere else. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miNfpJtqU_M
  8. Phorever People - The Shamen
  9. Voodoo People - The Prodigy
  10. Oh dear, I don't know if Jah Lush will play song game with me any more either; I can't bear clutter and books that I've finished with are, well, finished with. I pass them on. I don't like to keep things. Except shoes.
  11. Real Good Looking Boy - The Who
  12. Nobody deserved it more. Hope they popped a few champagne corks.
  13. Jeeez - someone needs to take a chill pill. ED Admin's is a pussy cat.
  14. Idiot Wind - Bob Dylan
  15. Time to move on. Are you fit?
  16. Mama Weer All Crazee Now - Slade
  17. My next door neighbour is elderly and hard of hearing. I feel so blessed.
  18. Let's Get Down to Business - B.B. King
  19. The Pixies influenced a lot of bands and they had a new sound that wasn't derivative. I?ve just had a listen to Nimrod?s Son and the Pixies are as EXCITING as ever. Indie music is just CLONE music right now ? so dull. I?m getting the feeling the plethora of new indie bands just want to be famous (the disease of the noughties). It?s easy to forget that the Pixies weren?t clones. That?s what time does. BTW Keef - I have CDs of all four Pixie gigs at Brixton a few years back (2005?) and they get major play on my i-Pod; you?re welcome to have a loan if you think they might swing your vote.
  20. Keef Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- The Bishop - Stoned Roses / The > Pixies - Everyone says how great it is, and it's > cool to like it, but really it's shite and no one > knows why they like it, but their friends want to > go, so they go and poretend to be having a good > time, whilst all along their friends are doing > exactly the same! Heh heh heh Keef - You've dissed the Pixies! Frank Black is a punk God. Surely you didn't mean THE Pixies. Is there another band called the Pixies that you've confused yourself with? Maybe a group of boys from Brighton that call themselves ?indie? and play barely disguised Beatles rip-offs? Not THE actual Pixies surely. I'm going for a lie down until the trauma wears off.
  21. Dear Prudence - Siouxie Sioux
  22. What Sean said
  23. Such a great song CitEd. Today, however, I'm feeling mostly camp
  24. Does anyone want to go see Ash at the Roundhouse next Friday? I can get free tickets. PM me if you likey.
