  1. Does anyone know what car will fit 3 car seats in the back? I.e 2 rear facing newborn car seats and one toddler car seat? Are there any cars that aren't MPVs that will fit all these in?? Thankyou xx
  2. Tues or Weds (19th or 20th), work for me x
  3. Sounds good to me. I can do any day that week apart from the Monday
  4. I know this is specifically what you said you didn't want, but Eurocamp have some nice sites near lake Garda. We used to go there as kids and have more recently started going to the Eurocamps in France. I've found them like a more relaxed version of Centre Parc. We have recently only stayed in the cabins (not the tents, although we used to as kids). Might be something to consider if you can't find anything fitting your exact brief x
  5. Week nights are good for me also. I can do the mon, tues or weds of the w/c 4th Feb. But I know that's quite restrictive so don't organise around me if everyone can make a different day. Thanks for organising x
  6. Hi all, I'm also expecting identical twins in July. I have to say it was a complete shock to discover that there was 2 in there when I went for the scan, although I am getting used to the idea. I also have a 2.5 year old son. But the thought of twins still terrifies me! Would be lovely to meet others due around the same time xx
  7. Does anyone know of any good books to encourage healthy eating for a toddler. My son is a very fussy eater and most mealtimes he barely eats a thing even if it is in his list of favourites. He says he doesn't like EVERYTHING. He is quite influenced by books though. We have green eggs and ham and sometimes he'll try something if we talk about that. Anyone have any other book recommendations? Thanks
  8. My mum used to let our hamsters roam around the house too! The hamster usually lived in the saucepan drawer. My mum also (and she still does this to this day) when she sees her fish dead/near death she holds them by the tail and swishes them through the water. She is convinced that this makes water flows through their gills and magically revives them!? They usually live for a day or 2 more. They probably end up dying from the trauma of being dragged backwards through water!
  9. Ha ha! I can't really remember but I don't think it was very long, probably a couple of hours!
  10. My mum once put my pet hamster which was dead (or very near death) in the oven (on a very low heat) to warm it up and brought it back to life?! Poor old hamster waking up on a baking tray!??? I have still never questioned her logic behind this.
  11. I had my baby at St Thomas's and I thought the care I received was great. Although I had my baby on Easter Sunday and hence there was only 1 locum anaesthetist so it did take him a very long time (4hours) to come and give me an epidural once I had requested one, so I think that aspect is kind of down to luck and u might find that anywhere. I had a pretty complicated birth but I felt well looked after throughout. I moved to ED half way through my pregnancy and couldn't decide whether to move to kings or not. But I'm glad I didn't. Mainly because I had to stay in hospital for a week afterwards and St thomas's has an m&s food downstairs. There is absolutely no way I could hav survived on NHS food for a week! Whenever I went to the day assessment unit I was seen almost immediately, so maybe the bad care u have received is just unfortunate. I do hope u feel better about going back there. Good luck!
