    I can see your point & I was hesitant about suggesting Bhudda Jazz to Mike. But... it's been a few days without any other suggestions. Also the food there can give you quite a nice tingle.

    Well India cancelled their trip & now this. It's unlikely that anyone will go back there for a while.

    When I was young I just had to go into the back garden to find lizards. Not quite as spectacular as Tillie's though. Not very urban either.

    Hoopers for the best beer selection in ED. I've only been to the Herne a couple of times but has always been decent. Nice big garden out back. I'll be sampling it tonight while watching the match.

    Well my train this morning didn't exist on any of the station boards or announcements. Apparently we were supposed to stand back from the edge of the platform as that train wasn't stopping at ED. Oops!

    They were running fine early this morning. There were some delays later in the day reported in another thread. Not sure if they're back on schedule now.

    Trains are running. Some of the station boards are incorrect though. I caught a non existent 7:19 to work. Very empty.

    Careful with the websites. The National Rail journey planner & the live departure boards were both incorrect yesterday. They reported trains were running while London Bridge was shut!

    The 40s appear to be stopping at Ondine Road & not heading down the lane. I'm not sure which buses are, but at least they get you some of the way.

    The 40s seem to be running fine. On one now & just missed the one before it.

    I saw both the 176 & 40 running. Caught the 40 into the city without any problems. Just busy.

    Train station was closed at 7:20. 40 & 176 were running fine.

    The forum drinks are always a good start. Anywhere from 30 - 50 people from the forum meet up, generally the first Friday of the month. Also keep an eye on the "What's On" and activities mentioned in the Lounge such as the Curry Club. Welcome to ED. The forum is great way to meet people.
