Just wondering if anyone has used a buggy board with any success with the baby jogger city mini? I know the reviews on it aren't great, but getting to the stage where I don't need the double buggy any more for toddler and baby, so want to just have the single. Any advice greatly appreciated!

I can also highly recommend Steve, it's the second time we've used him, this time for two radiator covers which look great. He's friendly, reliable and priced very fairly, will be using again!

Ah thanks Caroline :-) Spots clearing up and Ollie much better, Sam spot free for now but reckon he'll come down with it in a few days.....just in time for hols! Away this week but looking forward to catching up with everyone next week x x

Hi ladies For those of you who I saw on Friday, bit of unfortunate news, Ollie has developed chicken pox :-( First spots came out yesterday meaning he was contagious from Thursday so obviously concerned about him having passed it to the babies. From what I can gather babies under 1 don't react badly to the infection as they still carry our immunity (if you've had it before) Sam is snuffly and off his food but no spots as of yet but he's pretty much guaranteed to get it. So sorry if it has been passed on but he had no signs of it on Friday. I shall be spending the week quarantined with two poorly babies, eek!! Fingers crossed for no other spotty babies x x

Oakwood have been my midwives for both of my pregnancies and they were absolutely amazing, all of my friends outside of ED presumed I had private midwives based on the quality of care we received, we felt really lucky to have them, go for it you'll be in very safe capable hands, good luck! :-)

Me and Sam will be there at the cinema, looking forward to it! Loved the crumpets this morning too, as did Ollie, although don't think I'll walk up dog Kennel hill again with the double buggy!! x x

Going to brave it and bring both boys to the crooked well this morning, be warned Ollie will not be as well behaved as Iris was yesterday!! :-) Also if driving does anyone know where to park??x x

Congrats Lucy! 3 day induction sounds awful, hope you're recovering well :-) Thanks for advice ladies Sam had posterior tongue tie and a short tongue so bf all very 'gummy'. We've now moved onto bottles as things didnt really improve and i was getting v stressed!! Things now much better, although have to stop eating cake every day now!! Nikkix x

Thanks Jane :-) It was Dr Patel and Katie Fisher so I guess I'll wait for my follow up to discuss things with her. Hopefully thinfs will start to improve over next few days. Starting to feel like a prisoner in my own home with all the feedings!! x x

Calling all Mum's with tongue tied babies, Sam had the snip on Friday after discovering he was 'tied' but still not seeing an improvement with his latch.... feeding every hour or so and with a toddler it's becoming a nightmare, how long did it take everyone else to see an improvement? I'm eyeing up his bottles and v close to caving in!! Thanks, Nikki x x

Hi ladies Wondering who is about on a Monday and Friday with toddler and baby and if you fancy meeting up at a play group? Probably heading to cheeky c's on Monday and have a paid for class on Fri AM (cheeky monkeys just off Barry road) Would be good to meet up at these or any other groups, first week of flying solo with two kids next week, eek!!! Hi ladies, I'd be up for next Monday as well, will get hubby to look after toddler otherwise might be a bit hectic! Something defo seems to happen when nice sleepy newborns hit 2 and 6 weeks, they turn into feeding/screaming monsters, not looking forward to that although it does pass and we will sleep again! Samuel (Sam!!) Stanley Cooper arrived 2 days ahead of schedule early this morning via a sucessful 'VBAC'in super quick time (1.5 hours after getting to hospital!!) Hoping to get back home this afternoon and introduce Sam to his big bro! Looking forward to meeting up soon with all of the new babies and Mum's Nikkix x
