  1. Iaineasy, the idea of the invigilator was just to ask someone to ensure that threads stay on topic, as with any formal debate. All the rooms of the EDF are moderated to take out posts that are offensive or duplications or whatever, just usually quietly. And hugs? Really? You're that undiscriminating? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- yep I will hug anyone that needs one, there is enough descrimination in the world as it is!!
  2. So when I saw him hunting frogs a few days after it didn't seem unreasonable to turn the pressure washer on him. okay i shouldn't laugh but that is quite funny.
  3. ------------------------------ つの食事を持っていなかった ------------------------------ Brilliant!! Although i cant say it I will show it to her. Her reading is coming along nicely!! wolf needs some kind of therapy I think you should save that kind of behaviour for the street hawkers your missus loves so much! Re: knock at the door Posted by: HonaloochieB I told the c*nt what I thought of him and c*nted him off good and proper. I made it clear were he ever to blemish my doorstep again I'd get BigBadWolf to punch his face for him and see how he liked it. He left my stoop paler than when he arrived, I'll tell thee that f' nowt.
  4. I hope boris brings back the routemaster to dulwich!!
  5. We had a fox in our front garden yesterday evening,he was resting under the front hedgeminding his own business and far from being a flea bitten mange ridden thing, he seemed to be very healthy and had a very beautiful coat that looked very well groomed, whilst I accept they can be a bit noisy at this time of year, it is for just a short period of time over the course of the year, and the rest of the time they seem to go un-noticed. I for one like the foxes, they have every right to rub along with us in the best way they can and I think we would be much worse off without them. perhaps a cheap set of foam earplugs would help you and a little tolerance for natures much put upon FANTASTIC MR FOX!
  6. Get a bike (cheapest) for all your local travel and a travelcard for everything else, I like the travel card as oyster is useless for most overground trains which drives me mad!
  7. If someone makes a serious point in the lounge does it get shunted to the drawing room?? And why does the drawing room need an invigilator? Surely monitoring peoples contribution to a serious discussion implies that if you say the wrong thing you could be banned, Isn't that a bit un-democratic? And why do the serious conversations need monitoring and not the silly stuff in the lounge which has the potential to be much more offensive? I like the lounge and to be honest it has more potential as a forum to discuss the serious and silly in equal depth which can only be a good thing!! The drawing room seems to have a literary dress code, does anyonemind if I wear my smoking jacket in here? hugs

LIE YEKO okay i will let you know how it goes. hugs
  11. my cat "whisper muesli buckets II" has been tricking me by asking for food in japanese!! She has only been doing it for a week or two, she normally only speaks english, even though she comes from the himalayas.Does anyone know how to say know how to say "no! you have had two pouches today you greedy git" in japanese? 16. Ooops Okay Okay Gatecrasher chill pill mate, sorry I forgot about your one vote and it is important to me but the crumbles had it i am afraid, do you worry about invisibility? i think it coiuld be quite a party trick myself, perhaps you have a talent for it and we have shone a light into the invisible possibilities of YOU!! WOW perhaps we have a talet for that!! What we need is a bit less stressing from you and a can do attitude from us and you could be on X-factor, because I for one would like to see alot more invisible gits on x factor, maybe pies will get the vote next week who can tell?

  20. from what i understand if the deposit is not paid back in a certain time you are entitled to compensation equalto twice the value of the deposit taken, so I would look into your rights, and send a legal letter.

  23. I think it will be a days work for me and could do it for ?100 I have a motorised tile cutter and all the necessary tools, however it depends on the state of the floor and how easy the old tiles come up, it may neefd to be skimmed with latex which needs to be laid and left over night but thats not a big job,and could be priced at about ?40 to take up tiles and latex, then as its a small floor ?100 to fix n grout the tiles. best regards Iain 07984336300 if you would like me to have a look for you.
