  1. 21 year-old striker who was signed at the beginning of March 2006 on loan from Erith & Belvedere. Quick and with an eye for goal, he netted 6 times in just 6 appearances last term and has maintained his astonishing record of a goal a game including a hat-trick in the midweek 8-1 demolition of Godalming Town. Won the Golden Boots Award (Sponsored by Redeye Sports Management in association with the Professional Footballers Association) for August/September with 9 League goals. Who, I hear you cry. Why, it's our very own http://www.dulwichhamletfc.co.uk/Images/Chris%20Dickson.jpg
  2. that would be good, I'd like something that can do a bit more. I'll have to bring it into work though (which reminds me, I still need the plate and sieve - will have to pop round sometime :)))
  3. I'm a big fan of Chris Dickson. Talkshow host, author and former senator. http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a253/ChrisDicksonSr/CHRISTREE.jpg
  4. I'll be joining you in the edt Mr Two Bleedin Kidneys! I shall look into the rules (though I fear I may have missplaced the originals and may have to do a redraft. Go Chris Dickson http://farm1.static.flickr.com/137/360734235_bb1211a1af.jpg?v=0
  5. Fractitioner, despite possesing all those qualities in abundance, no, that they are not my reasons for disliking gyms.
  6. as you're both here - cpt quiz tonight? We'll get you a cussion keef ;-)
  7. gym's do bug me though - no idea why!
  8. I'll be outside with my empty can :))
  9. I'm loathed to see that become a gym, I mean, Filiz has a point. Don't want to sound rude, but given it will no doubt be expensive (and, looking at the size of the place, exclusive!), I fear it will just become yet another place for overpaid, buffed up prats to feel good about themselves....
  10. how will we recognise each other? Should we all bring copies of the Indy and wear flowres in our lappels or some such?
  11. I know nothing about wine (well, I know I like it, but that's about it). I've always found them friendly, and I've enjoyed the back bar bit, but it is very pretentious (so very ED I guess). They've bought the shop next door and are planning to expand (or so they say).
  12. oooh - have keane and coldplay made a decent album?!? >:D< I'm sure the music shop up by the station does strings Will, though not much else. I've a couple of friends who dream about a music shop (usualy with a pint in their hands!). Good thing all round in my opinion. Not soooo bothered about a clothes shop, but it does seem to be a popular wish list item for us Dulites. However, I can't imagine an ED clothes shopping selling anything sensible! (btw - is that gents shirt shop by the round about still open?)
  13. I think Mark's spot on, and I'm amazed Keef didn't suggest the CPT!
  14. The park's alwasy a good bet, or the woods are nice (and you get to see another side of ed!)
  15. Maybe all those so obsessed with M&S should trying living down the Walworth road instead....
  16. It's funny what people want from the same place... I love the idea of a community hall, and a small cinema (art house and alt only, obviously), but some of the other ideas... why does on earth east dulwich need a gym? There's a gym at the Hamlets, and the Peckham pulse, plus parks etcetera. M&S food hall? no thanks!! Can't think of anything worse. Over priced food for people with no taste and to much money as far as I'm concerned (no offence). Surely a second buthchers, another grocers would be better? Anything but!! I thought the police station was going batdog (though I'd ditch the magda too). whilst it has faults, the cpt's the only decent boozer left in ed! Now, what I'd *really* like to see is another curry house and a *trendy* bar.....
  17. Much like mockney I'd put the cpt first, then: Magda Franklins Liquorice Inside 72 Bishop Cherry (they do an ?11 cocktail...) EDT ...keebab and wine maybe (if you last that long!)
  18. sensible house prices..... *dreams*
  19. i really think yilmaz has gone down hill recently, used to like their kebabs, but always regret buying them these days! Always thought you went to kebab and wine for reasons other than food, or alcohol!
  20. surely the ritzy's closer than the picture house (if you want a shorter journey!). I'm a Peckham fan myself. When I saw Pirates of the Caribbean (the second), there was whooping and cheering when Mr Depp came on screen. Highlight of the film if you ask me (I know. Nobody did).
  21. Could we rename our new republic? Something like The Peoples Independent State of Peckahm (West)? Would help house prices!
