  1. you were the star batsman mockney!
  2. A few of us played a (very) amature game last season against one of the local regular teams, and would like to play some more this season (more than once anyway). Would anybody be interested in creating a forum team? (of particularly low standards - when I say play I mean we stood at the crease for brief periods of time.....watched the ball fly past us in the field.....and tried our damndist to throw a ball near the batter when blowling!). However, myself and a few friends would like to try and play a little more, but we're not really local side material..... On another note (a just outside of Dulwich one I'm afraid), Surrey have started taking bookings for the 20:20 season - anybody fancy going (this seemed easier than an e-mail!). The game against Hants caught me eye http://www.surreycricket.com/ticketing/domestic/
  3. I couldn't get the hyper linkage thing to work...(I have to consult mockney for most things technical). Jeremy - the Wii, it's, well, great!! (CrystalClear -Wii bowling pro and champion)
  4. it is indead batdog! amzing what tricks of the light can do :))
  5. nothing to do with the offer of a pint or anything, but....I think you should be able to download it from one of these sites... http://www.abandonia.com/games/780/WillyWorm.htm http://free-game-downloads.mosw.com/abandonware/pc/arcade_action/games_w/willy_the_worm.html
  6. yes, quite (I understand - honest!) Who won last night then?
  7. I always liked this.... http://www.glu.com/media/speedball_2_brutal_deluxe/screenshot_0.gif
  8. We've come a long way since this.....(Though I have a soft spot for the spectrum!) My mate just bought a Wii and it's great, I especially love the bowling, but has anyone got any farvorites?
  9. I did think some live music would be good. I've seen some jazz in the church by the green and was thinking something like that would suit this, though I'm now wondering wether health and safety, or extortionate fees for live entertainment charged by the council might mean this is a no no......
  10. I saw Nesbit in sommerfields once. Neither myself, nor my fellow customers were chatted up, but that didn't prevent a general concern from spreading through the isles.
  11. James Nesbit in Dulwich Park
  12. Poor, poor Dawn. Such a shame, for both of them. East Dulwich is *very* caddish these days I'm afraid.
  13. maybe you could write a forum anthem keef, and play the debate in :))
  14. I went last year (headed straight for the beer tent), and I thought it was good (I mean, I think I went, it was a long time ago....there was a beer tent wasn't there? And a bouncy castle?). Anyway, if I have crticsm, it would be with the layout...I thought the stalls were a bit packed together, so hard to look at, and the que for the bouncy castle split the thing in two! Could you use more of the green? (This is based on vague memories, maybe I should stay schtum!). Will the garlic/chilli people be back?
  15. Oooh, M&S. Would that be in the glaziers on Lordship Lane? The link is to a map so we can all make sure we're talking about the same place. Now, what I like about this map is that, much like Huguenot says they should (see above post), it follows the classic lines that I feel a map should be following. However, it does boast some lovely innovations, such as doubling as a picture locator. Fancy huh? http://www.flickr.com/photos/batholomew/map/
  16. sounds like you're ivemetjimmy's cup of tea DM! Not so sure about the chest waxing....
  17. death by alcohol I'm afraid DM.....
  18. you shall not have the last word, even if it means we sound like lovers! Now obviouosly, I have no memory, but I would swear that you've had chicken keebab on more than one occasion in the past year >:D<
  19. Don't they film the bill around Kings? That's kinda Dulwich....
  20. dude, we're talking months (at that's being generous!)
  21. the cherry is the *best* bar down LL!
  22. Does that rule apply when you have chicken donner in a wrap roll? >:D< not sure I can do the 24, but not to worry, and maybe I can, so I'll just fudge about for a bit I think.
  23. Maxin - are you out of your goddarn mind?
  24. The Palmerston is always full of children on a Sunday. Never tasted the roast (I've never made it past the front door on a sunday before feeling the need to eat somewhere else - my hungover, smoke riddled style doesn't sit well with family diners), but I have heard that it is good, and cheaper than their usual faer.
