  1. The 3 places mentioned are on my list of places to go as soon as possible with no high chairs, no screaming children and a meal without little Matilda throwing her dummy out of her mouth. Fantastic!
  2. It's not in duplicate it's in triplicate...there's another posting on the "what's on" section of the forum... That third posting slipped through the net, it has now been remoooved - The Administrator
  3. I used to be the proud owner of an MR2 and loved every minute of driving it. Cold day blue sky top down and heater blasting. Had to sell it as it was too low for my mum to get out of and being a good daughter with the choice of selling the car or selling my mum and the car had to go! Brilliant though I always look to see how comfortable or uncomfortable people look when driving with the top down. Worst offenders are those who have a convertible but always drive around with the top up... there's no excuse...
  4. Well after all of that I got my cheque returned yesterday... so I have to now say i'm sorry to see DL go! But given that no one actually read it i'm glad my ad never ran... I shall now be looking for a new forum to advertise in... maybe this forum is the way to go :))
  5. So I found out the hard way. Paid my ?50 for an advertisement to go into the September issue.... chasing my contact for the last couple of weeks, and last night finally got a response from him that Dulwich Life was in Receivership and he was "sorry"! If he still has my cheque he will return it... what are the chances. Has anyone else paid up front for an advert that is not now going to appear..?(6)
  6. Hi there Hi I clicked the link on "advertising on the site" back on the 27th June. Haven't had any reply. Please can you advise. This was my original note:- I am interested in finding out more information about how to advertise my business locally. I am a Virtual PA (see my website for full details) www.yourpa42day.co.uk . Please let me know what I need to do and how much advertising will cost. Many thanks Vikki Hibbert
  7. Try the Rye Hotel - you will have to venture over the line to Peckham Rye, but the food is fab, drinks are reasonably priced and there is an outside area at the back. Kids are welcome too early doors.
