We are hosting two drop-in style sessions to facilitate more in depth conversations, allowing us to run through our plans for 2025 and to discuss how we are going to address your feedback. We look forward to meeting you in person and discussing our event plans for both Gala and our new community day, On The Rye Festival, in more detail. Both sessions will be held at The Watson's General Telegraph, 108 Forest Hill Rd, London SE22 0RS. This is a five minute walk from the park and fully wheelchair accessible. GALA music festival are proposing additional days for 2024 as follows: Arena show - one stage only (capacity 8,000) Thursday 23.05.24 17:00-22:30. In case of continued dispute a senior council officer has the final decision as to whether an event can take place. Note Limited funds from this event directly benefit the park. Looking to borrow a child car booster seat from 26th Aug to 2 September.

Due to flood alleviation works that are expected to take place in the Park, plans have been put forward for a location on Peckham Rye Common. The site would occupy nearly half the Common north of the caf? and children?s playground. The event is scheduled for the 2nd-4th of June spanning the Queen?s Platinum Jubilee Bank holiday weekend. The site would be blocked off for some 19 days between 23rd May and 10th June. The change of location would have severe noise implications for the residential properties in close proximity East and West of the Common. Although a decision appears to have been made you can contact Southwark Events events@southwark.gov.uk Ref: SWKEVE000460 GALA music Festival, for more information and submit feedback. The consultation period has already opened and closes 10th February. There are meant to blue posters for a licencing application in the Park.

If anyone is interested Idverde the guys who maintain Peckham Rye are in conjunction with some volunteers are running a community litter pick of Peckham Rye on Monday 20th July at 10 am.
