Hello everyone First of all Happy New Year and congratulations to the new mums. I am new to this thread and as I gave birth to baby girl Jeanne on 27th December I thought I'd qualify to the winter babies club! I don't think I am done with the baby blues yet and didn't expect to feel somehow isolated with a baby so it's good to read other mums are feeling the same. My in-laws will arrive on thursday for a couple of weeks but I'd be glad to join any meet-ups from end January/beginning February. Looking forward to meeting some of you soon. Loren

I thought I'd take advantage of this thread to ask if anybody could recommend a good place for 3 birds roast. It's my first Xmas in the UK and I'd like to try something traditional. I've asked the butcher in front of the Plough but he doesn't want to put any stuffing in it because he says there is not enough space for stuffing but when I look on the internet there is sausage meat between the layers and stuffing inside (apple & apricot, cranberry etc). What do you reckon? Thanks

Hello Polly D Has your son started nursery yet and is he enjoying it? I am starting to look at nurseries for my daughter. I am only due end December but I hear there are long waiting lists. I have to say that we are a bit put off with the building of Bright Horizons on the Sainsbury car park but they seem to have good reviews and an outstanding Offsted report. His you son happy there and would you recommend this nursery? Many thanks for your comments. Loren
