  1. Hi Sophie-i sent you a PM. Our daughter is also going to Heber nursery on the same days from September. Hope to meet you and your daughter very soon.
  2. Hi Congratulations to all of you! I have a lot of baby's clothes (to give away) and baby equipment (baby gym, bouncer, lamp, sling and pushchair travel system). All in mint condition. If someone is interested please PM me and I can give you more info.
  3. Hi - If the meetings are still happening I would love to join. I am French, I live in ED and I'm currently on maternity leave. My baby boy is 7 weeks old and I have a 2.5 year old daughter. Please let me know or PM me. Many thanks
  4. Hello - my daughter (15 months) is starting at this nursery next week so will let you know how she's getting on. The premises are brand new and the staff looks lovely but we visited at 6.30 and there was no children left so difficult to get the feeling of what it's like when it's busy. What did you think of your visit Sonners?
  5. Hi Lindsay - Sounds great! Will try and spot you tonight if Jeanne lets us...it's a bit difficult to put her in bed at the moment, I think because she's teething but we never really know what's going on with these little ones... When and where are you meeting tomorrow for the olympic torch event... I won't have Jeanne tomorrow as she's at the nursery but was thinking of going anyway so I'd rather do it with you guys.
  6. Hello I would like to hear feedback from parents who don't speak English at home as a first language and had a childminder or nanny who didn't speak english as a first language either. How well do they think their child picked up english. Could it be a handicap when they start school? Many thanks L
  7. Hi everyone We went to visit Piplings Nursery near Peckham Rye a few weeks ago and although we've been really impressed with the building and the daily activities (as described by the owner) the staff in the babies' room looked very young and didn't seem to interact that much with the babies. In fact, they could have been looking after goldfish it would have been the same... They didn't talk to the babies and looked pretty much like they'd rather be some place else. I apreciate however that I looked at them less than 2 minutes during the visit so it would be great if I could get some feedback from parents who currently have their baby there. Many thanks in advance.
  8. Hi Linz - Jeanne is still asleep so not sure if/when we'll be able to make it. Hope to see you too.
  9. I am settling Jeanne at the nursery tomorrow morning so will try and make it tomorrow afternoon at the Gardens.
  10. You could try the Mag or The Plough on Lorship Lane. They have plenty of space and sofas. Please let me know if you go to the crooked well group on friday. I love crumpets! :-)
  11. The weather was so nice today that I decided to stay in Dulwich Park since Jeanne only seems to be fine in a moving puschair or on a playmat these days! I am up for a monday or friday morning too. L
  12. HI Elli I've been away for a while but will try to make it to the Gardens tomorrow afternoon arount 2.30/3pm. It would be nice to see you. Laurence
  13. Unfortunately, we will not be able to make it this week as Jeanne has a cold! Hopefully we will see you next week. L
  14. Unfortunately, I will not be able to make it this week as my little one has a cold! Hopefully will see you next week. L
  15. Hello Mooncake - Tuesday afternoon would be perfect for me. Will be at the Gardens surgery at 2.30pm for my baby's second set of immunisations so will join afterwards. See you there!
  16. HI Mathilda - I will definitely join this week but I tried to come the week before last at 4.00pm and the dulwich community centre seems to be closed. Is the blue door the entrance? Do we need to ring a bell or something? Also is there a fee to join? Thanks and see you soon.
  17. Hi Richard I am not going to make it tomorrow but if you keep meeting on wednesdays from next week onward I will definitely try. Afternoons are much more easy for me and the West DUlwich group is too far.
  18. If there is somebody who had baby no. 1 like me and wants to meet up please let me know or PM me. I get the feeling most women in this thread have toddlers so all meetings are in the morning and I'd rather meet in the afternoon. Thanks
  19. Shame! I won't be able to make it today as I just got an appointment with the Osteopath in Wandsworth at 2pm and won't be able to make it on time for 3.30pm. What time does the group end?
  20. That sounds normal to me Darcy. My daughter is 6 weeks old and it's only getting better now. She had reflux so it didn't help either. I now manage to be ready by 10-10.30am so morning meetings are still a struggle for me and if anyone fancy afternoon coffee, walks in Dulwich park please let me know!
  21. That's great! I will join you on wednesday at the constitutional club. I was desperate to find a nice local place. Thanks
  22. Hello - can we join with a 6 week old baby? Many thanks
  23. Afternoon would be perfect for me as we're struggling in the morning at the moment... Let me know the day that work for you. Any day for me next week except Thursday afternoon. It will be just me and my 6 weeks old baby girl.

  25. Thanks Kim - 11am on monday would work for me. Let me know if some of you will be there. Regarding the baby sessions, how old the baby should be? My daughter will be 3 weeks old next week. She might be a bit young. Let me know. Many thanks Loren
