  1. The Amateur FA are running a FA Referees Course at Alleyn's School (SE22 8SU), during August. The course is available to anyone aged 16+, who is interested in becoming a football referee – a role that not only can provide a good part-time income, along with health and wellbeing benefits, but also valuable life skills such as communication, leadership and dealing with conflict. Whilst at the same time, you can be helping to facilitate community sport in the local area. The course is £135 but includes equipment to get started (whistle, notebook with cards, flags), plus registration for the 24/25 season. As part of the qualification, candidates are required to referee 5 matches, which they're entitled to be paid for, and, as a result, individuals normally have made their money back by the time they are certified! Individuals can get further information and book on at https://bookwhen.com/amateur-fa-courses
