So I'm watching the last few episodes of Ugly Betty on my laptop, and while Betty is contemplating taking a job in London, she is looking at 'affordable' places to live in London. Cut to her laptop screen, where it shows not only East Dulwich, but Camberwell and Peckham too. It made me smile, so thought I would share it too, with a screen shot to go with. And yes, I am possibly a nerd/geek for doing this.

Jealousy on the helmet front I think, a case of 'I can't believe Britain will beat us'. Typical attitude when something new happens, rattles everyone cages. Happens at least once in every Olympics. But yes, well done to Amy, wish I had stayed up to watch it now.

snowboarding cross and the moguls have been my favourite so far, waiting for the half pipe, always good for a tumble or two.

Loving the winter Olympics, and getting strangely engrossed in the curling. It can be quite exciting as the stone goes down. Maybe that's an indication of my life, who cares. Loving the snowboarding too, just love it all, except the cross-country, biathlon and nordic combined boring or what!! Hours watching people drag themselves across the snow, please, and you say curling is boring??

Right now as we speak, two youths are being questioned and arrested at the top end of Landells Road. Being the typical curtain twitcher we are looking, oh the excitement. Can anyone else see this, it's like Peckham has moved in.

nah they're 18, always seemed much younger, probably have the mentality of a 13/14 yr old tho ha!

I'm only 26, but I felt incredibly old when I was home for Christmas and noted that several of my cousins children are now of drinking age. Strange I know.

My sister got me a shaving kit (albeit a lovely one) despite the fact for the past three years I have maintained a healthy beard on my face, so the present was pretty pointless. Much laughter on Christmas morning. Also about ten years ago, the same sister went out and bought presents for all her friends at school etc. Then on Christmas day, me and my other sister opened our rather small gifts, to find refresher chewy bars inside, hysteria all around, and to make it worse, I got one, the other sister got two!! The cheek. Now a running joke within the family every year.

As Sue said, do report it. Only way it will get sorted. I reported some missing post a few weeks ago, then the next day, most of the missing post turned up. Was delivered by some grumpy man, who couldn't even be bothered to say hello. When I tried to talk to him to ascertain what had happened, he just glared at me and walked off. So much for customer service. Fortunately, none of my post has been tampered with. Still one item is missing, and another is apparently down at Sylvester Rd. Going tomorrow to see if it's there. The post has been truly awful over the past few months, not sure what is happening, and a little concerned for items that I have sent in the past week or so for Christmas. Fingers crossed though.

I have to say ED is far better then HH. Although I have to admit, that the park on a weekend is a bit annoying with yummy mummies and there babies doing yoga, and the Sainsburys ain't much better either to be honest. Failing Grimsby, Sema's on Underhill Rd is pretty good. Oh and I hate to say this, but Northampton, is most certainly not northern, sorry (this coming from a northerner).

I didn't hear anything last night, I got home at 3am, and live at the top end of Landells Rd.

Can I just say, that for anything Fish 'n' Chip shop related, the best place is Grimsby. Always has been, always will be. Alas, I am biased, as am from the town.
