  1. It's a state run Hariss primary school not a private prep.
  2. I have had Chronic Kidney Disease with low kidney function all my life and I now have my freedom pass! Lived in London all of that time and here in ED for more than 30 of it. I have to drink a minumum of 3 litres a day, mainly tap water, never caused problems and none of my kidney medical team have ever mentioned it could cause problems.
  3. Sad to hear that. A few years ago Dr Scorer diagnosed skin cancer on my ear when multiple others had been prescribing cream for a skin condition. I'll be forever thankful to her.
  4. None still on Overhill.
  5. The Lordship if it's not really busy. Best to ask first though.
  6. Your local East Dulwich choir Note-Orious performing today at 1 on the stage in Dulwich Park.
  7. If anyone needs to travel along Forest Hill Rd there has been a serious accident at the junction with Dunstans Rd. Police have taped off the junction and traffic is very backed up in both directions and traffic is unable to cross from Any direction. Very sad to say it looks like a really bad motorbike accident.
  8. I've got the same thing !!! Mine look exactly like yours and are on my arms and hands. I'm using hydrocortisone cream which has helped and luckily mine don't itch. Very weird.....
  9. I live on Overhill and luckily have avoided a few potential crashes over the years from people ignoring the one way system. When turning into Overhill Rd from Lordship Lane you have to accelerate as it's quite a steep entry and as it's also on a bend you can't see if anything is coming down, not that it should be. I'm dreading the two way cycle idea !!
  10. We could all copy your post on FB for you if that's ok with you. Sure we all have local friends who could keep an eye out for him.

  12. Note-Orious Dulwich Choir are performing in Crystal Palace Station on the 28th June.
  13. The drummers in Dulwich Park a couple of weekends ago are the South London Samba.
  14. Hi Pergamenta, have to start by saying I am biased as I'm the manager of Note-Orious ! Have a look at our website www.note-orious.co.uk and our Facebook page and You Tube Chanel Note-Orious Choir to get a flavour of us. We rehearse on Monday nights upstairs at the EDT and usually end up in the pub after, we're a very social bunch. We're performing in the Festival of Choirs at JAGS on the 15th May, part of the Dulwich Festival, so come along and see us. If you are interested email us on info@note-orious.co.uk
  15. Saw a similar thing a few years ago around this time of year, fox sitting looking stunned then dragged itself up the path. I rang a fox rescue centre, explained what I'd seen, they laughed and told me the fox was probably male and had been having an intimate time with a lady fox !!
  16. Hi Seabag, I also took part in LNYDP ,3rd year running. Good fun isn't it? Best way to start the New Year !
  17. Not an ATM problem but a warning to anyone who uses PayPal. Someone managed to hack their way into my account and bought themselves a lovely new computer with my money. I'm sure other EDF'rs are not as lazy as me but in case you are make sure you use a dedicated password for PayPal.
  18. Weird, I'm in Overhill and waters been as usual !!
  19. Note-Orious, we're a very social community choir that meets 8 - 10 Monday nights upstairs at the EDT. We sing a mix of pop, rock, indie and show tunes. No audition needed and we are 50/50ish men and women. Have a look at our website www.note-orious.co.uk and on YouTube( Note-Orious Dulwich Choir) to see what we do.
  20. I agree with fluffy, I've lived opposite Dawsons Heights for over 20 years and apart from very occasional loud-ish music on hot days when windows are open it's very quiet, seems well maintained and is very family friendly.
  21. Does anyone know how to de host someone from an event on Facebook ?? I'm a host as well but can't seem to find a way to delete another host.

It's been terrible the last couple of weeks. Internet connection going down pretty much every day and lost my land line for 5 days last week !!!
  23. I've lived in Overhill Rd for more than 20 years and mainly love it. Advantages are.....Very quiet- good community feel- large houses - large gardens - easy parking - fab views - walking distance to 2 parks, Dulwich & Peckham - Goodrich School - great corner shop - short bus or car ride to Forest Hill station for the Overground. Disadvantages.......Depends which end you are.Very steep hill so if like me you're at the top carrying shopping, pushing buggy's etc hard work. I use the car a lot because of that and when going out at as not keen on walking up the hill late at night.
  24. We had pet rats years ago.Was a little dubious at first but fell in love with them.Very intelligent, affectionate and suprisingly clean.
