  1. The last couple of years it's been run by the Dulwich Festival organisers.
  2. Another recommendation for Gary. I've used his services many times over the last few years. Very reliable and reasonable.
  3. I fall into the clinically vulnerable and elderly bracket as do other friends. I'm still living a pretty much shielding life with the odd very cautious tiptoe back out into the world. Same as my friends who I haven't physically seen since early March. TBH can't see that changing for a long while sadly.
  4. Thanks OutOfFocus. JohnL Guy's and Kings come under different trusts. My understanding is that Blood tests, samples etc ordered by a Dulwich GP all go to Kings labs. Due to a long term chronic illness I've been a long standing patient at both hospitals. While in theory each hospital can log in to each others data in practise in my experience this doesn't work well.
  5. Gumshoe you mention Guy's. Does the Tessa Jowell centre come under Guy's and St Thomas trust and not Kings? Asking as I have to have regular blood tests at Guy's and it would be so much easier to have them locally. Dulwich Hospital tests used to get done in Kings lab.
  6. Penguin68 Milk & More deliveries have changed, I had an email. Monday's changed to Tuesday , Wednesday's to Thursday and Friday's to Saturday.
  7. The DCC closed last September. As far as I knew it was going to be put up for sale. Not a very helpful reply to your question, sorry. If anyone does have any information as to it's present situation I'd be very interested. My choir used to hold our rehearsals there but had to move when they closed. We were at the Palmerston till lockdown started, if, and I know it's a huge if, we can start rehearsing again we may need to find a bigger venue cause of social distancing. The DCC would be ideal !!
  8. jimlad48 your view that someone like myself and others on here who fall into the vulnerable bracket, whether for reasons of age and / or underlying health issues are expendable fills me with both rage and sadness in equal measures !!!!!!!!!!!
  9. hellosailor the person who posted found it at 16.15 yesterday.
  10. Pretty sure this cat just paid me a visit on Overhill Rd !!
  11. drewd Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > caz Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > Same happening on Overhill Rd from 4th May till > > September !! > > Can you tell me more? I live on Overhill Rd but > haven't heard anything about that. drewd there are road works happening for the next few months on Overhill. There was a letter that I can't find now, they've already started by the junction at Belvoir. Seems like they're doing it bit by bit, there are some signs on trees at the Belvoir junction.
  12. Same happening on Overhill Rd from 4th May till September !!
  13. Hi ED-NAGAIUTB I'm on Overhill, could you PM me the WhasApp number please. I'm ok at the moment but in a medium at risk group so not able to go to shops and have given up on trying for deliveries and may need some help further down the line.
  14. Yorksgirl just found it on your other post.
  15. Hi Yorksgirl, I'd be very grateful if you could PM me the government form too please.
  16. Yorksgirl I've also been wondering and worrying about how to inform Sainsburys that though I'm not 70 I'm not far off and am in the at risk category health wise and having to self isolate. Impossible to get through on the phone, I have tweeted them but no answer yet. Everything crossed my delivery turns up tomorrow morning but can't book another as no slots showing at all !! Please post if you get an answer as will I.
  17. There is a problem with closing the car parks for the more vulnerable of us out there, particularly if online shopping is going to become more difficult. I'm in the at risk category and am not well enough and live to far from any of the supermarkets to walk and then carry the shopping home. Using public transport is not safe for me so I may have to drive to shop. There are probably many of us in the same situation.
  18. Contacting the NHS @home team could also be useful for the same reason as the PALS post. They look after patients who have been discharged from hospital but still need medical care at home. They cover patients who have been in patients at Guy's , St Thomas' and Kings. Their email is [email protected].
  19. The red room at the BMC was a favourite of mine and my then toddler !! Very sad to see it closing.
  20. Thanks Sue and yeknomyeknom, hope you both have a lovely Christmas !
  21. Just wanted to say a massive thank you to the Forest Hill Rd Surgery. Despite being incredibly busy being Christmas Eve they have saved me from having to spend today in A&E and from having a horrible Christmas. From sorting an emergency appointment to going above and beyond with multiple phone calls from the doctor and receptionists to sort things out for me. I am SO grateful !! Also a huge thank you to the Day Lewis Pharmacy for managing to track down a very obscure antibiotic and getting it to me before they close for the next couple of days.
  22. Just wanted to say a massive thank you to the Forest Hill Rd Surgery team. Long story but today despite being incredibly busy as it's Christmas Eve they were wonderful in sorting emergency appointments and multiple phone calls to help me from having to spend the day at A&E and probably a pretty horrible Christmas . Both the doctors and receptionists went above and beyond and I am SO grateful !!
  23. A third reccomendation for Gary. Efficient, reliable and reasonable rates.
