Wel I got a reply from the Southwark parking enforcement and my fine has been cancelled as a?good will gesture ? I didn?t get the extended 2 months but they said it was my responsibility to ensure the permit was up to date-considering they sent out emails 29days prior to it ending which I didn?t receive but all good now for the next 12 months. Just wish they would update their payment service to enable mobiles to edit payment details without the complete headache of changing various settings to end up still not being able to do it

Hi my wife just spotted this thread and to be honest it couldn?t have been more useful right now as on Friday I got a ticket (PCN) in my street . I had applied last March for my parking permit and was not aware that there was an extension from the date it started and when it expires I checked my permit account on Friday morning to find out it had expired and tried to buy my next one but was unable to do so on their website in turn I didn?t receive the 29days prior to it expiring email (I checked all my emails/spam in case I missed it but no email) I spoke to the parking department about this and was told to appeal the penalty charge but would not be able to purchase my permit through them (don?t take card) so ended up running around trying to get one only to be told I would need cash and a barcode to be able to get it (now panic calling parking again to get one sorted as can?t afford more tickets due to my irregular shifts) if anyone has successfully got the appeal against this please pm me as I am at present waiting to find out if mine is successful or not

This is now turning into a joke just walked my dog into goose green park ( and not the playground) and now some bloke decides to walk into the middle of the park and have a dump now whether or not he has had a few drinks this is not a reasonable place to have said dump ( I did approach him and said I can't believe you are sh*ting In the park as my kids play in here to which he told me to f off ) now some may come back with the "well he's drunk or maybe he wasn't thinking straight" I am fd off with this its bad enough with us dog owners getting told we don't clean up after our dogs but when an adult does it let's see he was of about 6 ft tall wearing a pinkish red top and looks like jeans, short to shaven head would say mid to late 20's if you know him please try and get him to go before he leave the pub or where ever he came from

CE another person who doesn't read my post correctly I said "in the children's play park" with dogs that were running free chewing the swings, and it's got nothing to do with class rather a kids playground and it's use we have a perfectly good park not 10 feet from it to exercise a dog
-
No its not a wind up I was walking my dog at 10pm last night and I wouldn't waste my time posting it either if it was a joke
-
Not a wind up as I was walking my dog at 10th last night

Sorry Alice but I never said I was in the playground as I read signs that say no dogs allowed but if think that it's ok to allow your dog's to run free in an area that doesn't allow dogs as it is for children (and clearly signed) I just hope the person cleans up after their dogs as I said in my OP I'm not against people using the playground after dark but consider others who would use it
-
I'm not the kind of person who thinks when it gets dark you can't use the goose green play park but as I walked my dog tonight there was a couple using the play park again I have nothing against this but when you have to staffies (not against these type of dogs either) but if you let them run free and chew the swings and other play area items I hope you clean up after yourself as it's not just my children who play in it and I would expect you to read the sign which says no dogs allowed. Yes with other dogs about they might seem aggressive but have them on a lead and keep them together or use the main park (I do and I clean up after my dog as well). Common sense please

Just taking the dog out for his afternoon walk and by the crossing at the goose green play ground someone had been knocked down. Looks like there were a few in the playground at the time and some people were tending to the person hope they are ok and the person fully recovers
