  1. It’s so annoying !!! Have you heard it before ?
  2. Hi all, My partner and I were woken up by music - think bad early noughties pop - being played in the park last night. I could see green lights by the cafe from their speakers. It was so loud that the sound travelled over to us on the other side of the park. The last time this happened it was c11pm on a Tuesday, and I actually ran across the park to confront them. They called me a silly cow, and said that they’d been doing it for 20 years, but I was very forceful and said I would get the police involved so they packed it in. Is this a regular thing? They were two white guys in their 50’s / 60’s. They have massive speakers and a lights machine. It’s really antisocial and annoying !!!
  3. Hello all, I'm 29 and live locally in East Dulwich. I've just finished a legal conversion course, and am available for ad hoc babysitting over the summer before I begin my training contract. I babysat whilst completing the PGDL, and tutored children for the 11+ during my undergrad. I am kind, conscientious, and really enjoy spending time with children. I am also a good cook, and can keep your children off their screens! (If that's a priority for you.) Please get in touch if you need help with childcare, the school run, or baby-sitting over the summer. Eve
  4. Hello all 🙂 I live in East Dulwich on the Rye and have lived in the area for a few years. I'm currently undertaking a legal conversion course before starting work as a trainee solicitor in September. I've previously tutored children for the 11+ and for GCSEs, have a DBS certificate, and some experience baby-sitting and helping with friends' small children. I am responsible, diligent, and a good cook. I really like children, and at sixth form (donkey's years ago!) led a 'Reader Leader' scheme to encourage year seven pupils who struggled with reading and writing to read for fun. I would be interested in providing ad hoc support to a family with children during term time, with a view to providing childcare during the 6 week school holiday. If you are wondering what to do with your children during the summer but don't want to hire a full-time nanny, then please get in touch! Thanks and all best, Eve
