I can also add how completely satisfied I was with the service from Pavel and his colleague when they moved me last week. Friendly, polite and professional and everything was moved with care. It was completely stress-free, thank you Pavel.

If those earplugs don?t work I can recommend Howard Leight Max Lite ones (green colour). You can buy a big bag on Amazon cheaply and they?re the best I?ve ever tried - I?ve tried most! I think they might be used in industry. The brand makes ear defenders etc.

East Dulwich Station Mural is being painted

Which of the three artist(s) won? The website doesn't say. -
I'm trying to sell in New Cross Gate and having the same experience. I'm looking to buy too and properties I viewed three months ago when I put mine up for sale are still on the market. I thought the problem might be mine is a one-bed flat and the likely buyers are first-time buyers (who can't because they can't get the deposit together) or investors (for whom it's now far less lucrative to do buy to let). You say yours is a house though so maybe it's the whole market in the doldrums... Good luck!

Anyone interested in ED research participation?
Lu replied to Nicola Green's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Hi I would be interested but wouldn't be able to provide water meter readings because my block of flats is on one communal meter that I don't have access to. Would that be a problem? -
Hoping someone can help as I have a fox doing a big pile of poos outside my window. Has anyone used a repellent that actually works? I've tried 'Scoot' and 'Get Off My Garden' but neither work. The fox is doing its business in exactly the same spot virtually every day and I've been told by a specialist that nothing will work. But there must be something surely?? Otherwise I'm condemned to picking up poo every weekend...?

I tried Dulwich Riding School and wasn't impressed with the quality of the teaching or the general set-up. As others here have said, the horses didn't seem to get turned out so are mostly in the school or stables. That said, it was a few years ago when I went so things may have changed. I've tried several riding schools over the years and if you're serious about riding I also suggest getting out of London if you can. There are several schools in Bexley. I can thoroughly recommend Mount Mascal where I've been riding for many years now. They have a great selection of horses and instructors and there are woods right next door when you can hack out, as well as two arenas for lessons. I haven't tried it myself but I have also heard that Mottingham is good.

Sadly there are UKIP supporters everywhere, even ED no doubt.

Unfortunately nothing seems to be working... this is really annoying, I only bought the Ixus jsut over a year ago. Did you keep yours in a camera case? From what I've read, that seems to be the problem.

The models are: - Canon Ixus 100 IS and - Panasonic Lumix S1 Any ideas anyone? Many thanks.

I can sympathise as we also have a problem with Japanese knotweed and I've been trying to get our flats' managing agents to deal with it for over year. Apparently now is the best time to start treatment, while the plant is in its growing phase. Our has grown nearly 2ft in a week! I understand it has to be treated and disposed off by a licensed company and the treatment can take many months - however as long as you are treating it, lenders should grant mortgages on the property. That's what I'v been told anyway.

Does anyone know how to fix a compact digital camera with the lens stuck out? I've tried everything I could find on the internet but the lens won't move and switching the camera on/off makes no difference. This has now happened with two cameras and the common factor seems to be the camera case. I've now discovered that you shouldn't put this type of camera in a case because tiny fibres can get into the lens and damage it. Any advice welcome as I currently have two useless cameras!

Also last night at London Bridge and New Cross. I kept looking at my shoes thinking it must be me and I'd trodden in something!

A birthday card sent to me from Coventry took over a week to arrive and when it finally got here, someone had slit it open carefully along the top and then resealed it with sellotape. We have no idea why it was opened as there was nothing inside or any kind of embossing or badge on the card which would make anyone think there was. I imagine it's impossible to know where in the delivery process it happened. Also it could have been delivered to the wrong house, someone opened it and then put it back in the post box or through the door.
