My experience of the CT is that when they screw up, their first instinct is to cover up. They are also shameless liars.

The SEN teacher who was there at the start was superb, unfortunately she went on maternity leave and most of the good work she did was unravelled by the current headteacher.

Some great teachers, but the school leadership is abysmal. Shame because it started well, but the current head teacher is an absolute shocker.

"Cognitively impaired"?? Should shock me, but actually explains a lot about that head. Appalling woman, she should not be in charge of kids with ASD. -

I've had a SEN child at Charter. I would give it a wide berth while the current head teacher is in place. It's a shame because it started out as a great school for SEN, but the whole place has gone downhill since she has been in post. I rue trusting her with my kid's welfare.
