  1. Apocryphal Ocurrence Liasing with Priests Jemima's Wrath Les Chat et Sur Le Fenetre Pulp Friction Mrs Migginiver In the spirit of Cold Fusion being a real film, so's one of mine ;)

  5. "I think the dear is more of a next day occurrence." Wonderful Freudian slip there
  6. Don't get me wrong, 300 was a blast it's just Dawn of the Dead and 00 aren't necessarily the best showcases for handling something as complex, not to mention as revered as Watchmen. But fingers crossed, plus young Silk Spectre looks great ;-)
  7. Hellboy is by Guillermo Del Toro of Cronos and Pan's Labyrinth fame (and next to do the LOTR adaptions with the 2 part Hobbit). I'm a little concerned that Mr 300 (Zack Snyder), who obviously ha sa flair for visuals but doesn't get under the covers of a story the same way Del Toro can, is just finishing up the movie adaption of The Watchmen, which is so beautifully multi-layered a tale that I fear for how it has fared under his direction.
  8. It was a really very silly film, but I did quite enjoy it for a no brainer. You did wonder if anyone actually talked rather than shouted in them olden days innit. I watched Hellboy last night on Five which was excellent if once again, very silly. Will definitely keep an eye out for the sequel now.
  9. 3:33 am on a Sunday. Whoa there!!!
  10. No Bugsy Malone? (not normally partial to musicals at all, bu t I make just the one exception)
  11. I'll see what I can do, though as we're packing for the wedding (off in about 30 hours!!) it's likely I won't be able to make it. Have fun if I don't.
  12. Good start to the season. Congrats to Hull, commiserations to Stoke, hats off to Newcastle, who frankly didn't look like Newcastle, and well done Sunderland who were a bit unlucky not to grind a draw out of that, Richardson looking good for them (is he on loan or signed?). If Villa can keep consistency I think they've the makings of a very good side, building on good improvement last year. Deco looking like signing of the season already, but poor old Pompey, unsettled by rumours of a Redknapp return to Upton Park perhaps? Not sure how I feel about that. He's a great chap and all, but he ran out of ideas at West Ham and don't think a return would suit anyone. And lastly I loved being proved wrong re Wigan.
