  8. Drinking outside with the sun on your face The roads being v quiet without the school run traffic Feeling healthy with a little sun on your face
  9. Morning, my little one is nearly 3 and we've always found it difficult and expensive to buy footwear for her narrow feet. We usually have to go for Clarks but they are too hot and heavy for this time of year, and her nursery do not allow open toe sandals (that usually work as the Velcro straps can tighten) Any ideas? Enjoy the sun, thanks.

    Car question

Evening. Can anyone tell me if road tax for my car will increase if the MOT shows that the co2 emissions have gone over the current band that the car is in Am thinking of buying a car right on the cusp of a band, and don't want a nasty shock Thanks
  16. Narrowing it down now...anyone had experience of the Toyota Avensis Tourer? What I've read is that it is reliable, solid, safe and economical, with a good sized boot (to boot) Will take a test drive this weekend hopefully.
  17. Thank you for all the recommendations. We went to Car Giant first thing on Saturday, it was a good experience all round. Just comparing boot sizes and car dimensions on the auto express website to narrow it down. One more question - are parking sensors really useful or just a gimmick ? Cheers T
  18. Hi, we're looking to buy a second hand estate car having ruled out 4x4's and mpv's (for boot space and cost reasons) Does anyone have any recommendations (we'll have 2 car seats in at all times), and cars to avoid. Price range for a 3 or 4 year old car is about 8k. Looking for reliability so maybe the Passat estate (anyone had experience of the auto handbrake), or a Honda Accord / Toyota Avensis estate. Any tips welcome. thanks.
  19. Sounds great - anything similar but 30 mins into the City by train ? Looking at Epsom but literally need a second mortgage... 20. Was glad Groves won, although a draw would have been fair enough. De Gale should have had a point deducted for cheeky shoulders and elbows.
