  1. Who knows what the motivations might be? Thought your comment about 2012 membership has, therefore, no relevance at all. <text removed>
  2. Don’t know why but when I read this one expression sprang to mind, SOUTHWARK COUNCIL STOOGE!
  3. Err Sherlock, toe-rag sees sofa left outside, phones fellow toe-rag who comes along in a van, they place sofa in van. Gone.
  4. Hmm. Might be but sounded nearer. Oh well.
  5. You’re right, much louder than last year. After a day or so, it will be interesting to see the damage that’s left over. Swear someone has been playing music from the park today including right now. Nothing like previous noise but audible. Incredible that a small bunch of idiots never seem to be satisfied. Anyway, has anyone else noticed the noise today?
  6. The Council shouldn’t be getting any “whack” for exploiting public areas that they have a duty to protect. Afterall, they get a “whack” from central government and Council Tax to look after the parks etc.
  7. Yeah so the event should be scrapped.
  8. Yeah, just a money making event for Southwark Council and it’s ruining the park and common. The only 3 days a year argument doesn’t hold water. Like an abused wife saying her husband only beats her up three times a year but overall he’s a good husband.
  9. I’m entitled to my view that in the end trouble will descent on this event.
  10. Spot on! It should be scrapped. I don’t have to justify my views to the likes of you. What remarks?
  11. How would you stop them extending it when they take no notice of other views? That’s half the problem.
  12. Really? He said it was pure prejudice and hysteria. Are you on the booze today or maybe you’re an Ex-CEO at the Post Office.
  13. Wtf are you on about? The 50000 you mention are not all in the same place! Funny, you refute the suggestion about being homophobic but didn't respond on the racist insult! 🤣 Also, it’s not mainly litter than local residents are concerned about but the frigging noise. For example, they weren’t supposed to start until 2pm today but there has been loud music coming from the park since at least 11.30 pm this morning.
  14. Trouble is, the lovely peaceful park will be badly wounded.
