You could always just get the 37 bus to Clapham Junction and then train to Twickenham, although I quite like jonsuissy's suggested route, the 185 to Vauxhall only takes about 20-25mins.

No, Loz. I didn't get home and park it up 'til 5.30 in the morning and whoever hit it stood it back up afterwards.

Thanks PR and Ruffers - and good advice too. On this occasion I parked it beside another bike when I got home from work in the early hours of the morning with no car or van within 4/5 metres. The road gets a little busier during the day with shoppers parking up and the foxtons cars using the road too. The worst thing is that I can't really afford to get the repairs carried out for another week and I don't want to be claiming off the insurance. Sorry to hear about your experience Ruffers. I have a feeling the term 'had words' is an understatement!

Thanks Miss P and yes, very frustrating. It has happened to me before but this is the first time it has resulted in any real damage. I have my suspicions but there isn't really much I can do as I didn't see anything. I'm not entirely sure what certain drivers think as they don't seem to show much consideration to bikes. ....a parked motorbike knocked over on Crawthew Grove today? I have recently found my bike considerably damaged after being knocked over by, what I presume, to be a car either attempting to park or pull away and hitting my bike in the process. I can tell it was knocked over due to the state of one wing mirror (plus other damage) and the fact that the bike was replaced at an angle. My bike, as always, was parked on Crawthew Grove, just opposite the Bishop and outside Foxtons. Did anyone see anything?

The last two items I have ordered from Play.com have not arrived. I haven't had a problem with their items being delivered in the past so perhaps it is connected to this problem.

I've always seen rugby in Hoopers. The owner/manager is a rugby man so I'd be suprised if they didn't show it when you were there. Or did they not deliver in another way?

I think people are missing my point. I'm not saying they refuse to give you what you want or that they kick you in the balls. I'm merely pointing out that I think they need to cheer up a bit. Or maybe it is just me.

I should point out that there are a couple of exceptions. I look very menacing indeed... not. Like I said in the original post, they used to be quite cheery.

Is it just me or do the staff in the Bish have a personality defect? Actually, I know it's not just me as friends agree. When I go in and ask for a drink(s) it's almost as if I have asked them to bend over while I roger them senseless. Their only aim seems to be to look cool and moody. This hasn't always been the case. I remember a time when they actually seemed to be having fun behind the bar and this came across their service. I think the slump in customer service coincided with Joe, a previous bar manager, moving to their Balham pub. I have been going regularly to the Bish since it opened but unless the staff cheer up and try saying 'hello' once in a while, I may have to take my drinking habit elsewhere!

Hello! I live locally and am looking to enter my work team into a 6/7-a-side league. Does anybody on here play in the league at Dulwich Hamlet and if so, can you give me a little review on what it is like (standard, refs, price, facilities ect)? Any info will be much appreciated. Thanks

With regards what pub to watch the game in, I would go for the EDT. The Mag is usually better for football but they'll have their pub quiz on at the time of the games so won't have any sound on.
