  1. There does not seem to be a section about Public Toilets. As so many Public Toilets are being closed, where can we go? If there is no Toilet near could you ask to use a shops toilet? You see so many night people in London using the alyways, but where can they go. Is it against your human rights for an establishment to refuse you use of their toilet? I'll often walk into a pub or caf? and ask if it's okay for me to use the toilet. Some places are fine with it, some places aren't, and some places are unneccessarily rude about it despite how politely I've asked. I work in a restaurant and would never dream of turning someone away, if you've gotta go you've gotta go, it's a basic human need. Isn't it kind of against your human rights for them to say no? There is a solution but will the local councils be prepared to give it?

  13. This was the railway within the grounds of Crystal palace. Various systems were built to either push or pull a carriage through a tunnel using a differential in air pressure. Such a set-up carried mail beneath London in the second half of the 19th Century, and a short-lived passenger line operated alongside Crystal Palace Park (pictured above). Most ambitiously of all, a line beneath the Thames between Whitehall and Waterloo was partly constructed in the 1860s, but abandoned for financial reasons.
