I just joined when I moved to Dulwich 3 years ago. I have never seen a GP and I wouldn't even know their names. It is a shame. I have had to go to AnE for a chest infection as I was sick for over 3 weeks. I don't know what to make of it. Is this a conspiracy to force people to go private. If they can afford it. Or are they just trying to kill us off through lack of medical support. I do not think that I am qualified to diagnose my own medical condition. This system is surely not a safe one. And people will eventually die due to lack of basic health care. It is a very bad situation. From cradle to grave. It seems more grave than cradle to me. Are all so called GP practises as bad?

I find it impossible to see a GP but at another practice. And I agree with your observation regarding empty waiting rooms. I never really picked up on that until recently when I had to go to my GP to try and resolve a prescription issue. So you are not alone. My GP is Tessa J What can we do to change things.

Yeah it wasn't a nice experience. And I am really glad that the infestation was obvious Or else I would have been horrified. And well out of pocket. As it would have cost a lot of money to get rid of the things. Let alone the anxiety it would have caused me. I was very upset that evening and washed all my clothing and trainers on a long very hot wash to ensure that I didn't transfer anything to my house. But I think most sellers would be more careful. I hope.

Yes it was a private seller. I don't think it was intentional though.

It was a piece of furniture from a bedroom. But not a bed.

I have never been able to get an appointment. Even getting repeat prescriptions is a battle. They are the very worst GP practise I have ever been with. You can not book an appointment in advance. It is terrible I need to change to another practice. Does anyone recommend another GP practise please. It is very stressful trying to get through on the phone and the apps are even worse. I just checked the website and noticed that the latest inspection in October/November 2023 grades the GP practice as Requires Improvement in several areas. I never noticed that before. But I am not surprised. Plus they quote themselves as booking advance appointments. Which is a total untruthful statement.

Hi all, I just want to ask you all to be vigilant when buying any items. I recently went to buy an item. I won't say exactly what it was because I do not want to embarrass the seller. Anyway as I was carrying it to our car I noticed a red Beatle thing on it. As we looked at the item it was covered in orange red bugs. Hiding in corners and eggs etc. It was a very unpleasant experience and has put me off anything ATM. I obviously returned the item and got my cash back. But it was awful and scary as I could have ended up with a infestation. later I googled bed bugs and this confirmed what we thought they were. So please look carefully at any item you purchase and do your research.

So sorry Hun. It is a really scary experience. This is a real.crime and the police should be doing something about it. How dare they not bother. It isn't good enough. Maybe get on to whoever might drop some weight MP. Is there a minister responsible for.crime in the commons. Someone is going to get hurt and that shouldn't have to be what happens B4 anything is done. I can imagine the police would be quick enough to arrest a victim of they were able to catch the spineless so n so. x.

The Name Neighbourhood Vet. Tries to imply a trustworthy, honest service. But it sounds like they are anything other than Neighbourly. Or any type of neighbour you would want. Shocking.

Sainsburys - Dog Kennel Hill, muggings & assaults...
Happyme5 replied to Rose1950's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Well maybe we should boycott Sainsburys if they do not take our safety seriously. We know that Sainsburys are not responsible for the events...... but really not supporting the community and any possible police investigations is insulting to the community and sending the wrong message to criminals. The car park must be owned/leased by Sainsburys they have a responsibility to maintain health and safety in the environment for insurance purposes. I am sure they would call police if I set up a tent and moved in. Does being beaten and robbed not affect your health and safety???? I wonder there must be some people who know a lot more about the legal issues and responsibilities. -
Ex offenders selling on the door steps - SE22
Happyme5 replied to Caesi01's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Does anyone have video door bell footage or these people. It seems that they are getting more aggressive in their method. They really need to be stopped B4 someone gets hurt. Please report these incidents to the police. They sound like they could become really nasty in the wrong circumstances. -
Should cyclists have the same speed restrictions as motor vehicles?
Happyme5 replied to tedfudge's topic in Roads & Transport
Cycling is a great thing. But for some people cyclists are a bit scary. As not all cyclists are safe or respectful of pedestrians or motor vehicles. They can at times be vocally aggressive. And a danger to others. -
Maybe ask local people to check video door bell recording's. And report accordingly.

Gosh how freaking scary. This is assault and forced entry. I am glad that you were not subjected to further injury. Maybe you could report this to the police - I do understand why we don't officially report this type of incident. Had this been a more vulnerable person.... Who knows what the outcome could have been. I will be more careful opening the door. Take care and thanks for the warning -

So sorry but not surprised to read this. After all even Dulwich College is ultimately all about profit. I hope you have gathered evidence and that you get some other families behind you. Because any type of discrimination should be challenged.

musty smell from under floorboards
Happyme5 replied to Ergo_mark's topic in The Family Room Discussion
It sounds like you may have some kind of damp issue. Do you have ventilation blocks letting air flow under the floor boards. I had a similar issue and I got it sorted it depends obviously on the cause etc
