We are a family of French speakers — and readers, and as such our house is full of books in French, from children’s picture books to Picsou and Ariol comics, from Brecht Evens graphic novels to classic and contemporary litterature. As you know, French libraries are quite far from here and buying new books isn’t super sustainable, so I was wondering whether other readers would like to share and exchange books in french? If you haven’t read “Pas pleurer” by Lydie Salvayre I’m ready to explain to you why you need to, AND lend you the book on top of that. (I said lend: le livre s’appelle reviens, as we say) If you’re interested, please PM me! Then we can think how to organise depending on how many we are. Stephane

Hello, We're new to the area, freshly arrived from Italy, and I'm starting to look into after school activities or sports clubs for my 6 and 8 year old children. I was planning to wait until september and maybe get some recommendation from other parents at the school gates, but also realising maybe there's competition to get a spot anywhere and I should plan earlier than that? Would love to hear what other parents like! I'm looking into all kinds of sports, athletics/gymnastics/mixed sports, but also music... anything that's an easy ride from East Dulwich. Thank you :)

Hello, I'm new in the neighborhood (and in the country!) and am about to spend a Dulwich-based month of August of unpacking and summer fun, with my 6 and 8 year old children. I know how to use Google for ideas of things to do, but I thought I'd also ask here for any well-informed tips :) Thanks!
