Always had a good service from Royal Mail on deliveries. I also use 48 Tracked for sending small parcels, and only £3.39 when purchased online, very reliable and easy to follow updates. Some of the other "postal delivery services" tend to leave them in the front garden or doorstep and bugger off!
It's humans that created this "wildlife space" ,they are quite happy and very aware of us as mostly friends. Other wildlife is their main threat! behave yourself! lol!
Maybe the few staff only end up with a pound an hour with the rising Starmer bills and the rotten council tax deductions? they probably don't really care? who can blame them.
Fox, Herons, Crows, Gulls, Pike, Cats, Jays, Magpies, Jackdaws, etc. The list goes on! predators will always take a young waterfowl chick for breakfast, tea, lunch, if the opportunity arises. It's called "nature".
Personally I use Royal Mail for sending items, but I'm sure some of our older folk still rely on using the post office for various other uses, so hopefully it will remain for the foreseeable future.
