  1. Hardly used cricket kit bat, ball and protection kit. Bough for son who didn’t love it. New costs £85, selling for £40 to a new owner who will love it!
  2. This chair is great for kids. We left it outside for a few days so it needs polishing yet remains study. Well loved by kids and parents too! New costs more than £200, selling for £30
  3. My children each had a Stokke chair as they grew up. Sturdy and comfortable, I would recommend as a safe kids seat. originally more than £200 yet selling for £50.
  4. Youngstar does morning sessions as an option from 9-12 http://www.young-stars.co.uk/camps.php
  5. I have been thru a prolapse and managed to recover by using an Athena pelvic muscle trainer which is an electronic toner, hence you need to get doctors advice when you can use it after birth and if it will help your specific situation. Good luck
  6. Hi B, I would be interested in joining the HypnoBirthing next Tues 29th if numbers are not too high. I am pregnant with baby 3 at end Feb. I had a look at Kirstin's website and I am sold! Best Claire
  7. Does anyone know of any fun activities which allow 2.5y and 4.5y olds join in. My eldest has recently started school so rather than putting her into after school clubs (which are quite booked up) I wanted to find something she can attend with her brother whom is 2 years younger. A lot of activities I have looked at start at 3y. If anyone know of something that would be great! :)) Thanks Claire
  8. I am 19 weeks and still feel ill. I felt sick with my first 2 but it usally ended at 12 weeks. I used ginger in hot water for my first 2 kids which really helped yet I can not stand the taste now due to the association. A friend at work last week has suggested popping a clove in the side of your mouth and sucking... which I plan to try (bizarre as it sounds!).I find if I get lots of rest and acoid long car journeys then the sickness reduces. Hope this helps
  9. Hi, thanks for the info. Do you have a contact number so I can get in touch when the time comes I am due early next year.... And my kids tend to suffer from the dreaded colic....
  10. Hi, I would love to tag along. I am pregnant with my 3rd, due 25th february :-S. I moved to east from clapham after my son was born and am really looking forward to maternity leave with this bump in east dulwich. Please can you add me to the list at the gowlett on 27th too as it would be lovely to meet you all. Claire
  11. My daughter will be going to school in Sept 2011 and I need advice on which school to apply for and how to prioritise. I live on Upland Road and am nearest to Goodrich yet when I tried to get my daughter into the nursery there, my daughter was in the hundreds on the waiting list. Now life is getting a little more serious with Primary school decisions... I have visited Heber and Goodrich and thought they were both great yet I am not a teacher, nor do I have any experience of kids at these schools so I was hoping that there were some parents with experience who can advise at these schools or others in the local area? Thanks Claire Louise
  12. Thanks - the feedback is great. I have a 3 year old and a 9 month baby. I just moved from Clapham to Dulwich and though the midwifery care was great, the health visitors which followed the development of your baby once born were not great at all ("You will be alright love" was the best responses I would get to my queries!!) Any experiences with this at Forest Hill Surgery and Dulwich Medical Centre as it seems that they are both reputable so perhaps this is the decifing factor?
  13. Hi, Can anyone recommend a good doctor around the Upland road / Lordship lane area. My local doctors are Dulwich medical centre on crystal palace rd and Forest Hill group Practice. Any advice appreciated as I am new to the area with kids. Thx
  14. I am about to move to Upland Road, Dulwich and am trying to my my journey to work close to southwark tube. I have worked out a few options yet they are all likely to be long so any advice form those who have experience would be great. I will rely on buses on Lordship lane to get me to the station as the walk is too long and then one of these: East Dulwich to Blackfriars - this is the best arriving station for me yet is it closed due to works??? East Dulwich to London Bridge Honour Oak Park to London Bridge Thanks Claire
  15. Thanks blainiac - just what I needed! :))
  16. I am looking for playgroups, dance or music activities for my 2.5 year old to start asap either during the week or at weekends. Can anyone recommend something fun for my daughter and I or her nanny to join? We will be moving to East Dulwich in late October and are presently in Clapham (travel is not a problem). Thanks
